Her HD480p 49MB HD720p 115MB
Trailer for the latest movie written and directed by Spike Jonze (Where the Wild Things Are, Being John Malkovich, Adaptation.). It is a love story set in Los Angeles, slightly in the future. It follows Theodore Twombly, a complex, soulful man (Joaquin Phoenix) who makes his living writing touching, personal letters for other people. Heartbroken after the end of a long relationship, he becomes intrigued with a new, advanced operating system, which promises to be an intuitive entity in its own right, individual to each user. Upon initiating it, he is delighted to meet "Samantha," a bright, female voice (Scarlett Johansson), who is insightful, sensitive and surprisingly funny. As her needs and desires grow, in tandem with his own, their friendship deepens into an eventual love for each other. Also part of the cast are Amy Adams, Rooney Mara and Olivia Wilde.
Looks very interesting. I may even enjoy watching Phoenix.
Thor: The Dark World HD480p 37MB HD720p 83MB HD1080p 152MB
Full trailer for the sequel in which Thor (Chris Hemsworth) fights to restore order across the cosmos. But an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith (Christopher Eccleston) returns to plunge the universe back into darkness. Faced with an enemy that even Odin (Anthony Hopkins) and Asgard cannot withstand, Thor must embark on his most perilous and personal journey yet, one that will reunite him with Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) and force him to sacrifice everything to save us all. All main cast members return, new additions are Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Zachary Levi and Chris O'Dowd. Directed by Alan Taylor who so far was mainly responsible for episodes of TV series.
It's difficult for me not to think of live action role-playing with expensive special effects.
Captain Phillips HD480p 28MB HD720p 35MB
Full trailer for this thriller based on the 2009 hijacking of the U.S. container ship Maersk Alabama by a crew of Somali pirates. The film focuses on the relationship between the Alabama's commanding officer, Captain Richard Phillips (Tom Hanks), and his Somali counterpart, Muse (Barkhad Abdi). Set on an incontrovertible collision course off the coast of Somalia, both men will find themselves paying the human toll for economic forces outside of their control. Catherine Keener is also part of the cast. Directed by Paul Greengrass (The Bourne Ultimatum, Green Zone, Bloody Sunday).
Trailer reveals that this seems to be more than just an action thriller.
CBGB HD720p 26MB
Music-heavy movie about Hilly Kristal (Alan Rickman), the financially unstable entrepreneur who opened the iconic club in 1973. CBGB, which stands for "Country Bluegrass Blues," ultimately closed in 2006 over a rent dispute, but lives on as the largest music festival in New York City. Among the performers and their music that will be featured are Talking Heads, Blondie, The Ramones, The Police, Iggy Pop and Patti Smith Group. Cast members include Donal Logue, Rupert Grint, Malin Akerman, Ashley Greene, Johnny Galecki, Justin Bartha, Freddie Rodriguez, Bradley Whitford and Stana Katic.
I Give it a Year HD480p 14MB HD720p 25MB
US trailer for this relationship comedy that starts where other romantic comedies finish, it lifts the veil on the realities of the first year of marriage. Since they met at a party, ambitious high-flyer Nat (Rose Byrne) and struggling novelist Josh (Rafe Spall) have been deliriously happy despite their differences. He's a thinker, she's a doer, but the spark between them is undeniable. Their wedding is a dream come true, but no one is convinced that they will last. His ex-girlfriend (Anna Faris), and her handsome American client (Simon Baker) could offer attractive alternatives. Stephen Merchant, Minnie Driver, Jason Flemyng and Olivia Coleman round up the cast.
It boasts that it's from the producers of Bridget Jones's Diary and directed by Dan Mazer who produced Borat and all the other movies from Sacha Baron Cohen which should give you an idea of the somewhat mixed tone of the jokes.
