Oz The Great and Powerful HD480p 27MB HD720p 54MB HD1080p 72MB
Full trailer for this fantastical adventure that is meant to be a prequel to The Wizard of Oz directed by Sam Raimi (Spider-Man trilogy, For Love of the Game, Drag Me to Hell). When a small-time circus magician (James Franco) with dubious ethics, is hurled away from dusty Kansas to the vibrant Land of Oz, he thinks he's hit the jackpot that is until he meets three witches (Mila Kunis, Rachel Weisz, Michelle Williams), who are not convinced he is the great wizard everyone's been expecting. Reluctantly drawn into the epic problems facing the Land of Oz and its inhabitants, he must find out who is good and who is evil before it is too late. It is said that there will also be Bruce Campbell, of course.
It all looks so very fake and artificial. The colours make me want to stab my eyes out. And, breaking news, Franco is no Johnny Depp.

Comedic drama about an admissions officer (Tina Fey) at Princeton University who lives her life by the book, both at work and in her relationship with a faculty colleague (Michael Sheen, not sure if he's still in the movie). Visiting an experimental New Hampshire high school she's caught off guard when its co-founder (Paul Rudd) turns out to have attended college with her. She is then floored when reminded of the life-altering decision that she made while still a student herself; she had a son, who she gave up for adoption, and who she now realizes may be one of the students. Directed by Paul Weitz (American Dreamz, In Good Company, About a Boy).
I like Fey and Rudd, but man this sounds and looks contrived.
The Host HD480p 24MB HD720p 48MB
Full trailer for the movie based on the other best-seller from Stephenie Meyer. It's a sci-fi thriller that tells the story about the survival of love and the human spirit in a time of war. Our world has been invaded by an unseen enemy. Humans become hosts for these invaders, their minds taken over while their bodies remain intact. Most of humanity has succumbed. Cast members include Saoirse Ronan, Max Irons, Jake Abel, Diane Kruger, William Hurt and Frances Fisher. It's adapted and directed by Andrew Niccol (Lord of War, Gattaca, In Time).
It looked more interesting and thrilling when Saoirse Ronan had to hide from Cate Blanchett.
The Last Stand HD480p 26MB HD720p 51MB
Full final for this äkschn movie about a Sheriff (Arnold Schwarzenegger) who, after a bungled operation left his LAPD narcotics post, moved out of Los Angeles and settled into a life fighting what little crime takes place in a sleepy border town. But that peaceful existence is shattered when the most notorious, wanted drug kingpin (Eduardo Noriega) in the western hemisphere, makes a deadly yet spectacular escape from an FBI prisoner convoy. With the help of a fierce band of lawless mercenaries (Peter Stormare among them), he begins racing towards the US-Mexico border at 250 mph with a hostage in tow. Also part of the cast are Forest Whitaker, Rodrigo Santoro, Johnny Knoxville, Luis Guzmán and Jaimie Alexander. The most interesting aspect is that it's the Hollywood debut of Korean Kim Jee-woon (A Bittersweet Life, A Tale of Two Sisters, The Good the Bad the Weird).
I like this trailer a bit better, maybe because it is less focused on Arnold.
Amour HD480p 35MB HD720p 63MB
US hi-def version for the latest movie written and directed by Michael Haneke (The White Ribbon, Caché, The Piano Teacher) that won him his second Golden Palm in Cannes. It's a drama about a couple Georges and Anne (Jean-Louis Trintignant, Emmanuelle Riva) in their eighties. They are cultivated, retired music teachers. Their daughter (Isabelle Huppert), who is also a musician, lives abroad with her family. One day, Anne has an attack and the couple's bond of love is severely tested.
Austria's entry for the Best Foreign Language Oscar. Also, recent NYT and Guardian articles about Haneke.
