The Heat HD480p 37MB HD720p 82MB
Odd couple action comedy about an uptight and straight-laced FBI Special Agent (Sandra Bullock) who is a methodical investigator with a reputation for excellence - and hyper-arrogance. And then there's one of Boston P.D.'s "finest" (Melissa McCarthy) who is foul-mouthed and has a very short fuse, and uses her gut instinct and street smarts to catch the most elusive criminals. Neither has ever had a partner, or a friend for that matter. When these two wildly incompatible law officers join forces to bring down a ruthless drug lord, they become the last thing anyone expected: buddies. Directed by Paul Feig (Bridesmaids) and written by Katie Dippold whos's involved in making "Parks and Recreation".
Looks like a lot of fun. If the links don't hold, you can watch it online here.
Now You See Me HD480p 19MB HD720p 39MB
Crime thriller that pits a crack FBI squad (Mark Ruffalo, Mélanie Laurent) in a game of cat and mouse against a super-team of the world's greatest illusionists (Jesse Eisenberg, Isla Fisher, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco), who pull off a series of daring bank heists during their performances, showering the profits on their audiences while staying one step ahead of the law. Oh, and there's also Alfred and Lucius. Directed by Louis Leterrier (Clash of the Titans, The Incredible Hulk, Transporter 2).
Looks interesting but I hope there's not just style but also substance.
Möbius 430p 8MB
Short teaser for an upcoming corporate thriller produced by French EuropaCorp that is set in the world of high finance. A Russian intelligence officer (Jean Dujardin) is sent to Monaco to monitor the actions of a powerful businessman (Tim Roth). As part of his team he recruits a gifted trader (Cécile de France). Suspecting his betrayal, he breaks his the golden rule and contacts her personally.
In the second half they are trying a bit hard to imitate the recent Skyfall teaser, but I'll still be keeping an eye out for this one.
In Our Nature HD480p 25MB HD720p 50MB
Family drama about a Brooklynite (Zach Gilford) who takes his girlfriend (Jena Malone) to his family's weekend house in upstate New York for a romantic getaway where they are unexpectedly joined by his estranged father (John Slattery), and his much-younger new girlfriend (Gabrielle Union). The women carefully negotiate emotional minefields as they persuade father and son to share the house for the first time since the summer vacations of the son's childhood.
Looks a bit pedestrian and familiar.
