UK and US trailer versions for the latest romantic, comedic drama from Richard Curtis who wrote and/or directed Love Actually, Notting Hill and Four Weddings and a Funeral). The night after another unsatisfactory New Year party, a 21-year old (Domhnall Gleeson) gets told by his father (Bill Nighy) that the men in his family have always had the ability to travel through time. He can't change history, but he can change what happens and has happened in his own life - so he decides to make his world a better place ... by getting a girlfriend. Sadly, that turns out not to be as easy as you might think. Moving from the Cornwall coast to London to train as a lawyer, he finally meets the beautiful but insecure Mary (Rachel McAdams). They fall in love, then an unfortunate time-travel incident means he's never met her at all.
I recommend watching the UK trailer version. Looks ok, but not really great. Though better than the last time McAdams played the wife of a time traveller. I hesitated for a long time to say it, but, McAdams is a bit bland, isn't she.

Hard to grasp but very interesting looking trailer for this combination of real and animated film written and directed by Ari Folman (Waltz with Bashir). It is based on Stanislaw Lem's novel "The Futurological Congress", though I suspect only loosely. It follows the story of a search for one's humanity. In a futuristic setting, an actress (Robin Wright, as herself) became a virtual superstar by selling the rights for her image to a film studio. At 65, she is not distinguishable from her artificial image and fights to get her identity back. Suddenly she attends a futurologist congress where she discovers the workings of the corporation. Also part of the cast are Harvey Keitel, Jon Hamm, Paul Giamatti, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Danny Huston and Sarah Shahi.
This will surely be a mind-bender.

Short trailer for the big screen adaptation of a Neil LaBute play (The Shape of Things, In the Company of Men, Possession). It a comedic drama that follows a successful writer (Adam Brody) who, on the eve of his wedding, travels across the country to meet up with ex-lovers in an attempt to make amends for past relationship transgressions. Crisscrossing from Seattle to Boston, he reunites with high school sweetheart Sam (Jennifer Morrison), sexually free-spirited Tyler (Mía Maestro), married college professor Lindsay (Emily Watson), his best friend's little sister (Zoe Kazan), and "the one that got away" (Kristen Bell).

US trailer for this compelling horror movie that mostly takes place in the head and off-screen that can be seen as an homage to the Giallo genre. In 1976 a mild-mannered British sound engineer (Toby Jones) arrives in Rome to work on the post-synchronized soundtrack to The Equestrian Vortex, a tale of witchcraft and murder set inside an all-girl riding academy. But as he begins to work on this unexpectedly terrifying project, it's his own mind that holds the real horrors. As the line between film and reality blurs, is he working on a film - or in one?
Jones and director Peter Strickland won the British Independent Film Award last year. An alternative UK trailer: HD480p 14MB.

If you aren't yet suffering from a James Franco overdose, here's a short trailer for his adaptation of a William Faulkner novel from the 1930s. It tells the story of the Bundren family (members include Franco, Tim Blake Nelson, Danny McBride) of the rural South that tries to honor their late mother Addie's (Beth Grant) wish to be buried in her birthplace. They spend nine days hauling her coffin in a mule-drawn wagon, battling numerous obstacles and personal demons along the way.
Movie will screen as part of the "Un Certain Regard" section in Cannes.

Bonus, a long trailer for the upcoming TV series that will be co-produced by Joss Whedon that features a resurrected Agent Phil Coulson and a lot of unknown, young and pretty people.
