The Wolf of Wall Street HD480p 17MB HD720p 80MB HD1080p 149MB
First trailer for the latest movie from Martin Scorsese (The Departed, Goodfellas, Gangs of New York ). It is based on Jordan Belfort's best-selling memoir which chronicles Belfort's (Leonardo DiCaprio) dramatic rise and fall on Wall Street, along with his hard-partying lifestyle and tumultuous personal life, which included drug and alcohol addiction. Jonah Hill, Matthew McConaughey, Jon Favreau, Kyle Chandler, Rob Reiner, Margot Robbie and Jean Dujardin are also part of the cast.
While I personally prefer movies like Margin Call and Inside Job to portray what's wrong with Wall Street, this undoubtedly looks very entertaining. But will it win DiCaprio a prestigious award? At this point I fear it's more likely the Academy will honour McConaughey or Hill.

US trailer for the latest movie written and directed by Ethan and Joel Coen (A Serious Man, O Brother, Where Art Thou?, Miller's Crossing). It's about a singer-songwriter (Oscar Isaac) who navigates New York's folk music scene. It follows him a week in his life as he navigates the Greenwich Village folk scene of 1961. Guitar in tow, huddled against the unforgiving New York winter, he is struggling to make it as a musician against seemingly insurmountable obstacles—some of them of his own making. Also part of the cast are Carey Mulligan, John Goodman, Justin Timberlake, F. Murray Abraham and Garrett Hedlund.
The brothers won the second prize in Cannes, the Grand Prize of the Jury.
In a World... HD480p 16MB HD720p 29MB
Comedy about a struggling vocal coach (Lake Bell). Propelled by the hubris of her father (Fred Melamed), the reigning king of movie-trailer voice-over artists, she musters the courage to pursue her secret aspiration to be a voice-over star. Her fiery sister (Michaela Watkins) becomes a trusted confidante, and she engages the skills of a charming sound techie (Demetri Martin). Armed with renewed confidence, Carol lands her first voice-over gig, nabbing the job from industry bad boy Gustav Warner (Ken Marino). And then the real trouble begins. Directorial and writing debut of Lake Bell.
Premiered at Sundance where it was very well received and won the Screenwriting Award. Looks nice and I guess I don't have to explain why I feel obliged to see this movie.

For his latest movie Woody Allen (Midnight in Paris, Vicky Cristina Barcelona, Match Point) interrupts his European tour to return to the US. Summary so far is a bit vague, but it's a drama that tells the story of the final stages of an acute crisis and a life of a fashionable New York housewife (Cate Blanchett). Also part of the cast are Alec Baldwin, Bobby Cannavale, Louis C.K., Andrew Dice Clay, Sally Hawkins, Peter Sarsgaard and Michael Stuhlbarg.
It's nice to see Blanchett again in a more prominent role.
Lovelace HD480p 23MB HD720p 35MB
A first trailer from Sweden for this autobiographical drama that follows Linda Boreman's rise to fame as iconic porn star Linda Lovelace (Amanda Seyfried) of 1972's "Deep Throat". Fleeing her strict religious family, she falls for a charismatic hustler (Peter Sarsgaard) who launches her pornography career. Reborn as "Linda Lovelace," the charming girl next door skyrockets to international sensation with her uncanny capacity for fellatio. Fully inhabiting this new identity, she becomes a spokesperson for sexual freedom and hedonism. But six years later, she reveals a far more sinister narrative—the dark secrets of her own life story. Also part of the cast are Wes Bentley, Hank Azaria, Eric Roberts, James Franco, Robert Patrick, Adam Brody, Chris Noth, Juno Temple and a barely recognisable Sharon Stone.

Another 11-minute production blog this time mostly about preparations for some pick-up shooting of scenes (which might be an euphemism for re-shoots).
