For those who like their men topless, well-built and oily, trailer for the sequel based on Frank Miller's latest graphic novel "Xerxes". It takes the action to a fresh battlefield - on the sea - as Greek general Themistokles (Sullivan Stapleton) attempts to unite all of Greece by leading the charge that will change the course of the war. It pits him against the massive invading Persian forces led by mortal-turned-god Xerxes (Rodrigo Santoro), and Artemesia (Eva Green), vengeful commander of the Persian navy. Lena Headey and David Wenham also return. Zack Snyder this time only produces and helped with the screenplay.

Her obsession with Mr. Darcy, as played by Colin Firth in the BBC adaptation of "Pride & Prejudice," is ruining her love life: no real man can compare. But when a wealthy relative bequeaths her a trip to an English resort catering to Austen-crazed women, her fantasies of meeting the perfect Regency-era gentleman suddenly become realer than she ever could have imagined. Also part of the cast are Jennifer Coolidge, J.J. Feild, Bret McKenzie and Jane Seymour.
I don't know the novel this is based on, but judging by the trailer this looks like a wasted opportunity to me.

The movie portrays the events of the greatest low-to-high ebb spectrum in his life to date, namely how he tries to salvage his public career while negotiating a potentially violent turn of events at North Norfolk Digital Radio. Many cast members of the TV show will return plus some additions like Colm Meaney. It is also written by the same people who were involved with the show.
Looks not as funny as I hoped it would be. But I'm also not familiar with the Partridge character.

Full trailer for Brian De Palma's (Femme Fatale, The Untouchables, Dressed to Kill) take on the recent French, erotic thriller that starred Kristin Scott Thomas and Ludivine Sagnier. The film centres around two women: Christine (Rachel McAdams), an elegant, ice-cool blonde career woman who holds a senior position with a high-powered advertising agency; and her assistant Isabel (Noomi Rapace), a shy and reticent brunette. Christine has a silky smooth charm, but underneath her veneer of control hides a tangle of kinky sexual needs. Isabel, smart and creative despite her hesitance, harbours a growing ambition. When Christine claims credit for a daring marketing campaign that was entirely Isabel's idea, the gloves start to come off in subtle ways.
I can see why De Palma's attracted to the material, but I'm not sure it had to be re-imagined so shortly after the French movie. And the erotic highlight of the movie is clearly prima ballerina Polina Semionova.

Drama with comedic elements about a whip-smart former valedictorian (Kristen Bell) on the verge of 30, is living a seemingly perfect life in New York. When her work aspirations and love life suddenly come crashing down, she hightails it back to the cocoon of the Connecticut suburb where she grew up. Picking up right where her teen halcyon days left off, she moves into her old room with her parents, reunites with her bosom buddies who never left town, and steps back into her high school job as a condo-complex lifeguard.
Looks rather serious. And got some surprisingly bad reviews in Sundance (too much self-pity).
