Out Of The Furnace HD480p 21MB HD720p 92MB
Drama about family, fate, circumstance, and justice about a man (Christian Bale) who has a rough life: he works a dead-end blue collar job at the local steel mill by day, and cares for his terminally ill father by night. When his brother (Casey Affleck) returns home from serving time in Iraq, he gets lured into one of the most ruthless crime rings in the Northeast and mysteriously disappears. The police fail to crack the case he takes matters into his own hands, putting his life on the line to seek justice for his brother. Woody Harrelson, Forest Whitaker, Zoe Saldana, Sam Shepard and Willem Dafoe are also part of the cast. Directed and co-written by Scott Cooper (Crazy Heart).
Hello Oscar season.
Saving Mr. Banks HD480p 55MB HD720p 161MB
Comedic drama that tells the backstory of how Mary Poppins made it to the screen. When Walt Disney's (Tom Hanks) promises his daughters to make a movie of their favorite book, P.L. Travers' "Mary Poppins". In his 20 year quest to obtain the rights, he comes up against a curmudgeonly, uncompromising writer (Emma Thompson) who has absolutely no intention of letting her beloved magical nanny get mauled by the Hollywood machine. But, as the books stop selling and money grows short, she reluctantly agrees to go to Los Angeles to hear Disney's plans for the adaptation. For those two short weeks in 1961, Disney pulls out all the stops. Armed with imaginative storyboards and chirpy songs from the talented Sherman brothers (Jason Schwartzman, B.J. Novak), he launches an all-out onslaught on Travers, but the prickly author doesn't budge. Also part of the cast are Paul Giamatti, Rachel Griffiths and Colin Farrell. Directed by John Lee Hancock (The Blind Side, The Alamo, The Rookie).
Considering that, from what I've read, Travers was deeply unhappy with how the movie turned out, it's quite remarkable that Disney now even makes a movie about the events. Maybe as a warning.
How to Train Your Dragon 2 HD480p 20MB HD720p 36MB
Early teaser (that's more like more like a long clip) for the sequel that takes place five years later. While Astrid, Snoutlout and the rest of the gang are challenging each other to dragon races (the island's new favorite contact sport), the now inseparable Hiccup and Toothless journey through the skies, charting unmapped territories and exploring new worlds. When one of their adventures leads to the discovery of a secret ice cave that is home to hundreds of new wild dragons and the mysterious Dragon Rider, the two friends find themselves at the center of a battle to protect the peace. Again directed by Dean DeBlois who also co-directed the first one as well as Lilo & Stitch.
In theatres June next year.
Crystal Fairy HD480p 19MB HD720p 87MB
Low-key, comedic drama in the form of a road trip through Chile. A boorish American expat named (Michael Cera) and three Chilean brothers plan to set off in search of the prized San Pedro cactus and its promise of beachy hallucinations. But in the previous night's drunken stupor he invites a free-spirited fellow American named Crystal Fairy (Gaby Hoffmann), whose devil-may-care worldview gives them more of an adventure than any of them had bargained for.
Looks nice. It is one of the two recent collaborations of Cera with Chilean writer-director Sebastián Silva (The Maid). The other one is

which will have a DVD release in the US in August. It's a horror thriller about a young woman who has difficulties to sleep. If she (Juno Temple) could just get some sleep, everything would be all right. As she and her cousin Sarah (Emily Browning) make their way through rural Chile with Sarah's boyfriend, his sister (Catalina Sandino Moreno), and their strange American friend (Michael Cera), her insomnia slowly takes control. The difference between what is happening in reality and what is happening in her own mind becomes less and less clear to her.
Killing Season HD480p 13MB HD720p 60MB
Action thriller set deep in the Appalachian mountains where a reclusive American military veteran (Robert De Niro) and a European tourist (John Travolta) strike up an unlikely friendship. But when the tourist's true intentions come to light, what follows is a tense battle across some of America's most forbidding landscape proving the old adage: the purest form of war is one-on-one. Directed by Mark Steven Johnson (Daredevil, Ghost Rider, When in Rome).
Travolta has a ridiculous sounding accent and the movie is apparently rather brutal and gory. Now in limited release in the US.
