Another trailer from France for the English-language debut of Korean director Bong Joon-ho (The Host, Memories of Murder, Mother). It is based on a French graphic novel which is set in a future where, after a failed experiment to stop global warming, an Ice Age kills off all life on the planet except for the inhabitants of the Snow Piercer, a train that travels around the globe and is powered by a sacred perpetual-motion engine. A class system evolves on the train but a revolution brews. Remarkable cast consists of Chris Evans, Tilda Swinton, Song Kangho, Jamie Bell, Octavia Spencer, Ewen Bremner, Alison Pill, John Hurt and Ed Harris.
Movie was a huge success in Korea. Though there are now rumours that the Weinstein Brothers think about cutting 20 minutes from the 126 minutes running time for the US release.
