Labor Day Theatrical HD720p 155MB Internet HD720p 28MB
Two trailers for the latest drama directed by Jason Reitman (Juno, Up in the Air, Young Adult). With the first day of school approaching, a woman (Kate Winslet) and her 13-year-old boy have ventured on a rare outing together to buy him some new clothes, when the boy is approached by Frank (Josh Brolin) — whose bloodied forehead and clear sense of desperation signal the need for help. Setting aside their suspicions, the two reluctantly bring the stranger home, only to discover they got more than they bargained for. It's not long before they find themselves hostages of an escaped felon, and convicted murderer. And yet there's something comforting about Frank. What begins as a kidnapping slowly evolves into something else.
Certainly different from Reitman's previous movies. Both trailers are good, with the theatrical being the longer, more traditional one.
Only Lovers Left Alive HD720p 20MB
Finally, a first trailer for the latest movie written and directed by Jim Jarmusch (Ghost Dog, Night on Earth, Broken Flowers), his own, special take on the vampire genre. Set against the romantic desolation of Detroit and Tangier, an underground musician (Tom Hiddleston), deeply depressed by the direction of human activities, reunites with his resilient and enigmatic lover (Tilda Swinton). Their love story has already endured several centuries at least, but their debauched idyll is soon disrupted by her wild and uncontrollable younger sister (Mia Wasikowska). Can these wise but fragile outsiders continue to survive as the modern world collapses around them? Also part of the cast are John Hurt, Jeffrey Wright and Anton Yelchin.
Cesar Chavez: An American Hero HD720p 35MB
Portrayal of famed labor organiser Cesar E. Chavez (Michael Peña), focusing on Chavez's fearless determination in organising the largest non-violent protest in U.S. history to accomplish his ultimate goal of obtaining basic human rights for over 50,000 farm workers in California. John Malkovich, Rosario Dawson, America Ferrera and Wes Bentley are also part of the cast. Directed by Diego Luna.
Looks pretty gripping.
Beyond Outrage - Autoreiji: Biyondo HD720p 47MB
Redband trailer for the sequel to the Japanese crime drama Outrage, once again written, directed and starring Takeshi Kitano (Zatoichi, Hana-bi, Dolls, "Takeshi's Castle"). A manipulative police crackdown on organised crime ignites a tricky power struggle involving the two biggest yakuza families.
Thanks to its violence, the "redband" label is well earned. I liked the first movie, but not sure if I want to see more of the same.
The Lego Movie HD480p 52MB HD720p 119MB
Full trailer for the 3D computer animated movie that follows Emmet (Chris Pratt), an ordinary, rules-following, perfectly average LEGO minifigure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world. He is drafted into a fellowship of strangers on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant (Will Ferrell), a journey for which Emmet is hopelessly and hilariously underprepared. Further voices are provided by Elizabeth Banks (tough-as-nails Lucy), Will Arnett (the mysterious Batman), Nick Offerman (a pirate), Liam Neeson (a powerful henchman known as Bad Cop) and Morgan Freeman (an old mystic). Directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller (21 Jump Street, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs).
Not without charm, but why not watch a short brick movie on YouTube for free?
