Draft Day     HD720p 52MB
Sports comedy in which, on the day of the NFL Draft, general manager Sonny Weaver (Kevin Costner) has the opportunity to save football in Cleveland when he trades for the number one pick. He must quickly decide what he's willing to sacrifice in pursuit of perfection as the lines between his personal and professional life become blurred on a life-changing day for a few hundred young men with dreams of playing in the NFL. Jennifer Garner, Ellen Burstyn, Denis Leary, Frank Langella and Chadwick Boseman are also part of the cast. Directed by Ivan Reitman (Dave, No Strings Attached, Ghost Busters).
This trailer looks a lot more interesting and funnier than it ought to.

The Grand Budapest Hotel     HD720p 14MB
Another delightful trailer that introduces the many characters of the latest movie from Wes Anderson (Moonrise Kingdom, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, The Darjeeling Limited). It's a comedic drama that recounts the adventures of Gustave H (Ralph Fiennes), a legendary concierge at a famous European hotel between the wars, and Zero Moustafa, the lobby boy who becomes his most trusted friend. Besides pretty much every actor who has ever been in a previous Anderson movie there will also be Saoirse Ronan, F. Murray Abraham, Mathieu Amalric, Jude Law and Tom Wilkinson. Also, an animated poster.
This also gives me the opportunity to point out this book about Anderson's movies written by Matt Zoller Seitz. If you're a fan, I urge you to have a look at its website and watch the book trailer. There you can also find seven video essays Seitz recorded about Anderson's movies.

The Best Offer     HD720p 50MB
Stylish art world thriller about a solitary, cultured man (Geoffrey Rush) whose reluctance to engage with others, especially women, is matched only by the dogged obsessiveness with which he practices his profession of antiques dealer. He's never been close to another human being, not even Robert (Jim Sturgess), his only friend – a young, skillful restorer of mechanical devices from every era. The day he turns sixty-three, he receives a phone call from a young woman who asks him to handle the disposal of some family works of art. But when the time comes for his first site visit, the girl fails to appear. More than once he's tempted to bow out of what appears to be nothing but a bothersome mess, but on each occasion, the mysterious young woman, locked in her own obsessional world, convinces him to continue. Donald Sutherland is also part of the cast. Directed by Giuseppe Tornatore (The Legend of 1900, Cinema Paradiso, Malena).

Age of Uprising: The Legend of Michael Kohlhaas     HD480p 17MB
UK trailer for this adaptation from France of Heinrich von Kleist's novella. An historical drama set in 16th century France against a backdrop of feudalism in decline about a well-to-do horse merchant (Mads Mikkelsen) who resorts to fanatical and violent extremes to obtain justice after a nobleman openly and illegally humiliates him by stealing two of his horses. Denis Lavant, Bruno Ganz, Roxane Duran and Sergi Lopez are also part of the cast.
Trailer is insofar misleading that it is making it look like as if this is almost an action movie. According to festival reviews this clearly isn't the case, and the movie should mainly be appealing to fans of Mikkelsen.

Million Dollar Arm     HD480p 31MB   HD720p 66MB
Sports drama from Disney about a once-successful sports agent (Jon Hamm) who now finds himself edged out by bigger, slicker competitors. He and his partner Aash (Aasif Mandvi) will have to close their business down for good if he doesn't come up with something fast. Late one night, while watching cricket being played in India on TV, he comes up with an idea so radical it just might work. Why not go to there and find the next baseball pitching sensation? Bill Paxton, Lake Bell and Alan Arkin are also part of the cast. Directed by Craig Gillespie (Lars and the Real Girl, Fright Night, Mr. Woodcock).
The fact that Thomas McCarthy wrote the script leaves a little hope, otherwise it smells a bit like condescending colonialism.
