Screenplays 33 Scripts
I don't have enough material for a well-rounded trailer entry, but I have totally forgotten about Oscar related screenplays. And since in a few days probably no one will care about it I wanted to provide a few links. Once again, Ropeofsilicon has collected links to many of the scripts so I just have to link to their post. Among the screenplays available are Dallas Buyers Club, 12 Years a Slave, Nebraska, The Wolf of Wall Street, Before Midnight, Rush, Frozen, Saving Mr. Banks, The Great Gatsby, August: Osage County, Fruitvale Station, Philomena, All is Lost and Enough Said.
Also links to scripts for Gravity, American Hustle, Her, Labor Day and a not entirely official one for Inside Llewyn Davis.
And don't forget, the prizes are not necessarily about what movie you personally, or any other person who enjoys watching movies, thought was a good movie. It's which Oscar marketing campaign by the studios worked best for a bunch of old, white males.
The list of Oscar nominations at IMDb for easy database access, and the trailer overview at Apple, as far as available.
The Double US HD720p 91MB UK HD720p 23MB
If you haven't yet seen enough from this movie, here are the full trailers from the US and the UK for Richard Ayoade's (Submarine) adaptation of Dostoevsky's novella. When Simon (Jesse Eisenberg) gets to work he finds that this double has usurped his tenuous position in the company. Routinely humiliated by his boss (Wallace Shawn), the neurotic Simon now has to deal with a doppelgänger that is everything he isn't: confident, charming, successful, superficial. As Simon, he is fatally ineffectual, unable to communicate his ideas at work even when they're brilliant - and a desperate failure when it comes to the woman of his dreams (Mia Wasikowska). Noah Taylor and Yasmin Paige also return from the cast of Submarine.
In the Blood HD480p 18MB HD720p 62MB
Action movie about a trained fighter (Gina Carano) with a dark past. When her new husband (Cam Gigandet) vanishes during their Caribbean honeymoon, Ava uncovers a violent underworld of conspiracy in the middle of an island paradise. Armed with a deadly set of skills, she sets out to discover the truth – and to take down the men she thinks are responsible for his abduction, one by one. Luis Guzmán and Danny Trejo are also part of the cast. Directed by John Stockwell (Dark Tide, Blue Crush, Crazy/Beautiful).
It's nice to see that Carano continues to get work. But I think I like her better when she beats up well known faces like in Haywire or when she's part of an ensemble like in the F&F franchise.
NOW: In the Wings on a World Stage HD720p 58MB
Documentary about Kevin Spacey, Sam Mendes and the Bridge Project Company who go on the road across 3 continents and over 200 performances, revealing some of the most intimate moments behind the scenes of their staging of Shakespeare's Richard III. Witness Spacey's revelatory interpretation of Richard III in each brief excerpts from the play.
It's produced by Spacey himself so this probably doesn't intend to be anything hard-hitting. Which is fine by me. Some more info on Spacey's website.
The Lego Movie HD720p 45MB
Some funny "outtakes" from the animated movie. Mark your calenders, because of its big success, the release date for a sequel has been set: May 26, 2017.
