Get On Up HD480p 28MB HD720p 107MB
Biographical movie based on the incredible life story of the Godfather of Soul, it will give a fearless look inside the music, moves and moods of James Brown (Chadwick Boseman), taking audiences on the journey from his impoverished childhood to his evolution into one of the most influential figures of the 20th century. Also part of the cast are Viola Davis, Octavia Spencer, Nelsan Ellis, Lennie James, Tika Sumpter, Craig Robinson and Dan Aykroyd. Directed by Tate Taylor (The Help).
Rejoice, the studio allowed James to be played by a black actor.
Hateship Loveship HD720p 54MB
Romantic drama about Johanna, a profoundly shy, shabby housekeeper (Kristin Wiig) hired to care for Mr. McCauley (Nick Nolte) and his granddaughter Sabitha (Hailee Steinfeld). Despite her outgoing nature, Sabitha carries wounds from the death of her mother years before, while her father (Guy Pearce) is a hapless recovering drug addict with a certain ragged charm. In an act of mean-spirited rebellion, Sabitha fosters a pseudo-relationship between Johanna and her father through a series of forged emails, never dreaming of the potential harm. Based on a short story by Nobel laureate Alice Munro.
Don't like the set-up but it looks like a very good role for Wiig.
The Machine HD720p 29MB
Low budget sci-fi thriller that garnered some very good festival reviews. Already deep into a second Cold War, Britain's Ministry of Defence seeks a game-changing weapon and enlists a brilliant programmer (Toby Stephens) to research and develop a cybernetic super soldier in a secret governmental lab. When a programming bug causes his prototype to run amok, he takes his obsessive efforts underground, far away from inquisitive eyes. Soon he has perfected the ideal marriage of human and machine in his ultimate creation, a beautiful and dangerous being that may be the key to ending the endless war, but a sentience stirring inside the machine puts everyone's plans in jeopardy.
Home HD720p 58MB
A four minute short called "Almost Home" that serves as an introduction to the animated movie coming up this autumn based on the illustrated novel "The True Meaning of Smekday" by Adam Rex. When the galaxy's most annoyingly optimistic alien (Steve Martin) finds himself on the run from his own alien race, he's forced to team up with a fiercely stubborn teenage girl. Together they become the most unlikely fugitives ever to save the planet.
In the movie, further voices will be provided by Jim Parsons, Rihanna and Jennifer Lopez. Directed by Tim Johnson (Over the Hedge, Antz).

It doesn't fit my pattern of trailers I usually post (just 30 seconds, TV movie, not downloadable) but I'm extraordinarily delighted to share the news that the follow-up to Page Eight will air next week on BBC 2. Johnny Worricker (Bill Nighy) is hiding out from his work at MI5 on the tax-exile islands, Turks & Caicos. Trouble comes knocking when an encounter with a CIA agent forces him into the company of some dubious American businessmen. Claiming to be on the islands for a conference, he soon learns the extent of their shady activities. When links to prime minister Alec Beasley (Ralph Fiennes) come to light, Worricker must act quickly if he is to survive. Christopher Walken, Winona Ryder, Helena Bonham Carter, Ewen Bremner, Rupert Graves and Dylan Baker are also part of the remarkable cast.
The good news doesn't end there, the third part of the trilogy, Salting the Battlefield, is also already in post-production. All parts are written and directed by David Hare.
Since the trailer is so short, why not watch a video that reveals that Bill Nighy is a world-class snow-boarder.
