First teaser for this swords and sandals action movie based on a graphic novel with a revisionist take on the classic myth. Haunted by a sin from his past, Hercules (Dwayne Johnson) has become a mercenary. Along with five faithful companions, he travels ancient Greece selling his services for gold and using his legendary reputation to intimidate enemies. But when the benevolent ruler of Thrace and his daughter seek Hercules' help to defeat a savage and terrifying warlord, he finds that in order for good to triumph and justice to prevail he must again become the hero he once was. Also part of the cast are Ian McShane, Rufus Sewell, Joseph Fiennes, Peter Mullan, John Hurt and Aksel Hennie. Directed by Brett Ratner (Rush Hour 3, After the Sunset, X-Men 3).
Sounds like serious business. Very serious. Overly serious.

Second trailer for another X-Men sequel that marks the return of director Bryan Singer (Jack the Giant Slayer, The Usual Suspects, Valkyrie) to the franchise. The summary so far says that this time the ultimate X-Men ensemble fights a war for the survival of the species across two time periods. The beloved characters from the original "X-Men" film trilogy join forces with their younger selves from "X-Men: First Class," in an epic battle that must change the past – to save our future. Which means it will be even more challenging than usual to give everyone enough screen time. Among the new, additional cast members are Peter Dinklage, Omar Sy, Fan Bingbing and Evan Peters.
Looks all very dramatic. But I still think the amount of characters is overkill.

Major William Cage (Tom Cruise) is an officer who has never seen a day of combat when he is unceremoniously dropped into what amounts to a suicide mission. Killed within minutes, he now finds himself inexplicably thrown into a time loop forcing him to live out the same brutal combat over and over, fighting and dying again and again. But with each battle, he becomes able to engage the adversaries with increasing skill, alongside Special Forces warrior Rita Vrataski (Emily Blunt). And, as the two take the fight to the aliens, each repeated encounter gets them one step closer to defeating the enemy. Directed by Doug Liman (The Bourne Identity, Go, Mr. & Mrs. Smith).
It's nice they left a few quieter dialogue scenes in the trailer.
Minuscule: Valley of the Lost Ants - La vallée des fourmis perdues HD720p 27MB
Very nice and charming looking animated movie from France based on a popular French television series. In a peaceful little clearing, the remains of a picnic hastily abandoned spark warfare between two tribes of ants. A bold young ladybug finds himself caught in the middle of the battle. He befriends one of the black ants and helps him save the anthill from the assault of the terrible red ant warriors.
The trailer linked above features a French narrator that introduces the story. The movie itself is entirely dialogue-free. Trailer with English intro. Some more shorts.

Sci-fi thriller about two MIT freshmen with a passion for hacking. While driving cross-country through Nevada with a girlfriend they follow rival hacker Nomad's clues to a location 180 miles away. After a terrifying confrontation with Nomad in the middle of the desert, the trio regain consciousness in captivity. Struggling to comprehend the true nature of their confinement, they discover they are part of a plot much larger than themselves. Among the better known cast members are Laurence Fishburne and Brenton Thwaites. Directed by William Eubank who previously was responsible for a similar movie called Love.
Looks a bit challenging and I'm not sure the story will pay off. But that still leaves the visual and atmospheric side.
