Birdman     HD540p 21MB   HD720p 40MB
Will wonders never cease, Alejandro González Iñárritu (Babel, Amores perros, 21 Grams) has made a dark comedy. And no, it's not a dark comedy with (barely) interconnected story lines. It tells the story of an actor (Michael Keaton) – famous for portraying an iconic superhero – as he struggles to mount a Broadway play. In the days leading up to opening night, he battles his ego and attempts to recover his family, his career, and himself. Also part of the great cast are Zach Galifianakis, Edward Norton, Andrea Riseborough, Amy Ryan, Emma Stone and Naomi Watts.
Teaser looks pleasantly weird. And I very much hope this will make Michael Keaton more popular again.

Frank Miller's Sin City: A Dame to Kill For     HD540p 26MB   HD720p 56MB
Full trailer for the prequel/sequel that once again weaves together some of Frank Miller's classic stories with new tales about the town's most hard-boiled citizens cross paths with some of its more reviled inhabitants. Many characters from the first movie return, some of them have been recast. Among the new additions are Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Eva Green, Christopher Meloni, Jeremy Piven, Ray Liotta and Jamie Chung. Again directed by Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller.
Yep, it's still Frank Miller's.

The Interview     HD540p 18MB   HD720p 33MB
Teaser for this action-comedy in which Dave Skylark (James Franco) and his producer Aaron Rapoport (Seth Rogen) run the popular celebrity tabloid TV show "Skylark Tonight." When they discover that North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un (Randall Park) is a fan of the show, they land an interview with him in an attempt to legitimize themselves as journalists. As the two prepare to travel to Pyongyang, their plans change when the CIA recruits them, perhaps the two least-qualified men imaginable, to assassinate Kim Jong-un. Lizzy Caplan is also part of the cast. Witten and directed by Evan Goldberg and Rogen (This Is the End).
I like the thought that this will lead to some real-life diplomatic entanglements.

The Boxtrolls     US HD720p 55MB    UK HD720p 36MB
Two very nice full trailers from the US and the UK for the next animated movie from Laika Studios (Coraline, ParaNorman) based on Alan Snow's novel "Here Be Monsters!". It tells the tale of the Boxtrolls, monsters who live underneath the charming streets of Cheesebridge, who crawl out of the sewers at night to steal what the townspeople hold most dear: their children and their cheeses. At least, that's the legend the townspeople have always believed. In truth, the Boxtrolls are a community of lovable oddballs who are raising as one of their own an abandoned and orphaned human boy named Eggs. When the Boxtrolls are targeted by a villainous exterminator who is bent on eradicating them, Eggs must venture aboveground to save them, where he teams with an adventurous young girl to save not only the Boxtrolls but the soul of Cheesebridge. Voices will be provided by Ben Kingsley, Isaac Hempstead-Wright, Elle Fanning, Jared Harris, Toni Collette, Nick Frost, Richard Ayoade, Tracy Morgan and Simon Pegg.

Frontera     HD480p 29MB   HD720p 101MB
Border drama set in the tumultuous Border area of Arizona and Mexico. It follows the events that take place after a former Arizona Sheriff's wife (Amy Madigan) is killed while riding on their Ranch property. It would appear a Mexican man (Michael Peña) crossing in to the US illegally is at fault. As former Sheriff (Ed Harris) and current Sheriff (Aden Young) search for answers, lives are changed forever and the facts as to who is really at fault in this tragedy are nearly as tenuous and complex as the issues and tensions between the people who live in this region on either side of the line. Eva Longoria is also part of the cast.
