Dunkirk HD720p 44MB HD1080p 76MB
Early announcement teaser for the latest movie written and directed by Christopher Nolan (Dark Knight trilogy, Interstellar, Inception). There isn't yet an official summary, but it is a war movie set during the Dunkirk evacuation in 1940 during World War II, when allied soldiers from Belgium, Britain, Canada and France were surrounded by the German army and evacuated during a fierce battle. Cast members include Tom Hardy, Mark Rylance, Kenneth Branagh, Cillian Murphy, James D'Arcy and Barry Keoghan.
Teaser doesn't reveal much, but, unsurprisingly, it looks like the movie will once again be pretty epic in scale. To be in theatres next July.
Resident Evil: The Final Chapter US HD720p 94MB Intl HD720p 22MB
From the franchises that refuse to die department, two trailer for what allegedly will be the sixth and final movie of the series based on video games. Picking up immediately after the events in Resident Evil: Retribution, Alice (Milla Jovovich) is the only survivor of what was meant to be humanity's final stand against the undead. Now, she must return to where the nightmare began – The Hive in Raccoon City, where the Umbrella Corporation is gathering its forces for a final strike against the only remaining survivors of the apocalypse. Ali Larter, Shawn Roberts, Ruby Rose, Eoin Macken and Iain Glen are also part of the cast. Again written and directed by Paul W.S. Anderson (Resident Evil, Alien vs. Predator, Pompeii).
You can choose between the US and a slightly more coherent international trailer version.
Arrival HD720p 10MB
Teaser for this intriguing looking sci-fi thriller. When mysterious spacecrafts touch down across the globe, an elite team - lead by expert linguist Louise Banks (Amy Adams) - is brought together to investigate. As mankind teeters on the verge of global war, Banks and the team race against time for answers – and to find them, she will take a chance that could threaten her life, and quite possibly humanity. Jeremy Renner, Forest Whitaker and Michael Stuhlbarg. Interestingly, directed by Denis Villeneuve (Incendies, Sicario, Enemy).
Full trailer to follow next week.
Bad Santa 2 HD720p 39MB
Redband trailer for the sequel in which, fueled by cheap whiskey, greed and hatred, Willie (Billy Bob Thornton) teams up once again with his angry little sidekick (Tony Cox) to knock off a Chicago charity on Christmas Eve. Along for the ride is "the kid" - chubby and cheery Thurman Merman (Brett Kelly), a 250-pound ray of sunshine, who brings out Willie's sliver of humanity. Mommy issues arise when the pair are joined by Willie's horror story of a mother (Kathy Bates). Christina Hendricks and Octavia Spencer are also part of the cast. Directed by Mark Waters (Mean Girls, Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, Mr. Popper's Penguins).
Since this one probably will just be meaner and more vulgar, why not just again watch the first movie.
Snowden HD720p 97MB
Second trailer for the thriller directed Oliver Stone (JFK, World Trade Center, Natural Born Killers) about Edward Snowden (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) who exposed shocking illegal surveillance activities by the NSA and became one of the most wanted men in the world. Also part of the cast are Shailene Woodley, Melissa Leo, Zachary Quinto, Tom Wilkinson, Rhys Ifans and Nicolas Cage.
I still think it is unfortunate that Snowden's personal life will be so much in focus when its the things he revealed that should be discussed. If you're interested in Snowden, and haven't done so already, I still recommend having a look at the Oscar winning documentary Citizenfour. It is history making documented in real-time.
