Announcement trailer for the upcoming (sort of) live-action version of The Lion King (or maybe it is just a Jungle Book sequel, who can tell the difference), to be in theatre next July. The movie journeys to the African savanna where a future king is born. Simba (Donald Glover) idolizes his father, King Mufasa (James Earl Jones), and takes to heart his own royal destiny. But not everyone in the kingdom celebrates the new cubs arrival. Scar (Chiwetel Ejiofor), Mufasas brother - and former heir to the throne - has plans of his own. The battle for Pride Rock is ravaged with betrayal, tragedy and drama. Further voices are provided by Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, Billy Eichner, Keegan-Michael Key, Alfre Woodard, John Oliver, John Kani and Seth Rogen. Directed by Jon Favreau (Iron Man, The Jungle Book, Cowboys & Aliens).

Darkly comedic, stylish psycho thriller, based on a novel by Ryû Murakami, who also provided the basis for the movie Audition. Reed (Christopher Abbott) is a seemingly normal guy struggling to channel some dark urges involving an ice pick. To keep his family out of harm's way, he checks himself into a hotel and orders a prostitute, with the secret intention of taking his methodical violence out on her. But when call girl Jackie (Mia Wasikowska) arrives, things go disturbingly off-script. Laia Costa is also part of the cast.
Sounds a bit challenging. While overall mixed, reviews praise Wasikowska's performance.

Crime thriller, in which honorably discharged Special Ops soldier Pete Koslow's (Joel Kinnaman) world is turned upside-down when he's jailed after a fight to protect his wife (Ana de Armas). He’s given a chance for early release by becoming an informant for the FBI (Rosamund Pike, Clive Owen) and using his covert skills in an operation to take down The General, the most powerful crime boss in New York. But when the FBI sting meant to finally earn Koslow his freedom results in the death of an undercover NYPD cop, he finds himself caught in the crossfire between the mob and the FBI. Common is also part of the cast. Directed by Andrea Di Stefano (Escobar: Paradise Lost).
Hard to tell at this point, if the interesting cast will be enough to make it worth watching.

More voices, old and new, will come from Hannibal Buress, Dana Carvey, Harrison Ford, Tiffany Haddish, Kevin Hart, Garth Jennings, Ellie Kemper, Nick Kroll, Bobby Moynihan, Jenny Slate and Eric Stonestreet. Again directed by Chris Renaud (Despicable Me, The Lorax).
