Better Living Through Chemistry     HD480p 14MB   HD720p 66MB
Dark comedy in which a small town pharmacist's (Sam Rockwell) uneventful life turns into a walk on the wild side when he embarks on a drug-and-alcohol fueled affair with a seductive customer (Olivia Wilde). Also part of the cast are Michelle Monaghan, Ben Schwartz, Ken Howard, Ray Liotta and Jane Fonda.
Makes me want to become a pharmacist pretty badly.

The Lunchbox     HD480p 16MB   HD720p 76MB
Romantic drama with some fine humour from India in which a mistaken delivery in Mumbai's famously efficient lunchbox delivery system (called Dabbawallahs) connects a young housewife (Nimrat Kaur) to a stranger (Irrfan Khan) in the dusk of his life. They build a fantasy world together through notes in the lunchbox. Gradually, this fantasy threatens to overwhelm their reality.
Maybe because it was the last movie I saw last year and the memory is still fresh, but I'd say this was the nicest movie I saw at the theatre in 2013. Though you'll probably have difficulties to believe that by watching the US trailer. So I'm afraid you'll have to take my word that this is a very recommendable film if you like your relationship movies quiet and gentle. Also, a slightly better trailer from France: HD720p.

Run & Jump     HD1080p 42MB
Drama with comedic elements from Ireland that follows Vanetia (Maxine Peake), the spirited and impossibly optimistic center of the Casey family, who is struggling to get life back to normal after her 38 year-old husband suffers a rare stroke which changes his personality. Entering the emotional fray is a buttoned-up American doctor (Will Forte), who arrives in Ireland to stay with them for two months: his research grant providing them with essential financial aid. Though she initially resents living under the microscope, she soon finds comfort in his calming presence.
Movie was well received at festivals and is now in limited release in the US.

Omar     HD480p 20MB   HD720p 92MB
Oscar-nominated, thriller from Palestine about betrayal, suspected and real, in the Occupied Territories. Omar is a Palestinian baker who routinely climbs over the separation wall to meet up with his girl Nadja. By night, he's either a freedom fighter or a terrorist, ready to risk his life to strike at the Israeli military with his childhood friends. Arrested after the killing of an Israeli soldier and tricked into an admission of guilt by association, he agrees to work as an informant. So begins a dangerous game - is he playing his Israeli handler or will he really betray his cause? Directed by Hany Abu-Assad (Paradise Now).
Makes for a very good double-bill with Israel's official Oscar submission Bethlehem.

The Bag Man     HD480p 25MB   HD720p 98MB
Crime thriller about a tough guy (John Cusack) with chronic bad luck but human touches. Hired by a legendary crime boss (Robert De Niro) to complete a simple but unusual task, the plot centers around the anticipated arrival of the boss who has summoned him and a host of shady characters to a remote location for unknown reasons. Over the course of a long and violently eventful night awaiting his arrival, his path crosses that of a stunningly beautiful woman whose life becomes physically and emotionally entangled with his.
Looks very bizarre. Like a B-grade (or lower) movie with a few Lynchian touches.
