First, short trailer for the prequel/sequel that once again weaves together some of Frank Miller's classic stories with new tales about the town's most hard-boiled citizens cross paths with some of its more reviled inhabitants. Many characters from the first movie return, some of them have been recast. Among the new additions are Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Eva Green, Christopher Meloni, Jeremy Piven, Ray Liotta and Jamie Chung. Again directed by Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller.
I'm glad the official title makes it clear which Sin City this is about to avoid confusion with the many, many other Sin Cities. I can't believe it's almost a decade since the first movie came out.

Comedy from the UK about a young wannabe musician (Domhnall Gleeson), who discovers he's bitten off more than he can chew when he joins a band of eccentric pop musicians led by the mysterious and enigmatic Frank (Michael Fassbender) and his terrifying sidekick Clara (Maggie Gyllenhaal). Frank's uniqueness lies in the fact that he makes music purely for the joy of creating ... and because he wears a giant fake head.
This looks very odd but funny. But just to make it clear. Fassbender wears a big plastic head on his head. And he never takes it off throughout the entire movie. Sorry girls. It's also apparently sort of based on an English musician and comedian called Chris Sievey and the persona he created known as Frank Sidebottom.

Full trailer from the UK for this biographical drama that tells the story of former Hollywood star Grace Kelly's (Nicole Kidman) crisis of marriage and identity, during a political dispute between Monaco's Prince Rainier III (Tim Roth) and France's Charles De Gaulle, and a looming French invasion of Monaco in the early 1960s because of Monaco's standing as a tax haven. Frank Langella, Parker Posey and Derek Jacobi are also part of the cast, and also Paz Vega who plays Maria Callas. Directed by Olivier Dahan (La Vie en Rose).
Movie was delayed because of differences between director Dahan and US distributor Harvey Weinstein but has now been chosen as the opening film at the Cannes Film Festival next May.

Set against the romantic desolation of Detroit and Tangier, an underground musician (Tom Hiddleston), deeply depressed by the direction of human activities, reunites with his resilient and enigmatic lover (Tilda Swinton). Their love story has already endured several centuries at least, but their debauched idyll is soon disrupted by her wild and uncontrollable younger sister (Mia Wasikowska). Can these wise but fragile outsiders continue to survive as the modern world collapses around them? Also part of the cast are John Hurt, Jeffrey Wright and Anton Yelchin.

The energy company fights to hold onto its discovery of oil just as a new government comes into power. In Nigeria, where oil has already been discovered, the ramifications of the oil industry have taken their toll on the people, most notably those in the Niger Delta who have seen none of the benefits of this new wealth. As the American company falls under the scrutiny of the new Ghanaian government and the U.S. Justice Department, the contracts for the oil field languish. Jobs are lost, power plays are made and all the while, the Ghanaian people wait to reap the benefits.
