Superhuman action-thriller that tracks a woman (Scarlett Johansson) accidentally caught in a dark deal who turns the tables on her captors and transforms into a merciless warrior evolved beyond human logic. Morgan Freeman, Analeigh Tipton and Choi Min-sik are also part of the cast. Written and directed by Luc Besson (The Fifth Element, Nikita, Léon).
While Disney stalled for a long time to commit to a Black Widow movie, Luc Besson seized the opportunity. Including "beyond human logic" in the official movie summary seems like a very honest thing to do.

Gretta (Keira Knightley) and her long-time boyfriend Dave (Adam Levine) are college sweethearts and songwriting partners who decamp for New York when he lands a deal with a major label. But the trappings of his new-found fame soon tempt Dave to stray, and a reeling, lovelorn Gretta is left on her own. Her world takes a turn for the better when a disgraced record-label exec (Mark Ruffalo) stumbles upon her performing on an East Village stage and is immediately captivated by her raw talent. Hailee Steinfeld, Catherine Keener, Cee Lo Green and Yasiin Bey aka Mos Def are also part of the cast. Written and directed by John Carney (Once, Zonad). And it indeed has elements of Once since Knightley performs a number of songs (even though the lip-synching apparently doesn't always match the studio-recorded songs). Festival reviews are split between very charming and a bit fake looking. So far it didn't really "click" with me.

Under the heavy hand of his employer and cousin (James Gandolfini), he finds himself at the center of a robbery gone awry and entwined in an investigation that digs deep into the neighborhood's past where friends, families, and foes all work together to make a living - no matter the cost. Matthias Schoenaerts and John Ortiz are also part of the cast. Director by Michaël Roskam (Bullhead), written by Dennis Lehane (Mystic River, Gone Baby Gone, Shutter Island).
If you are familiar with Lehane's stories then you know what mood to expect.
