Chef     HD480p 22MB   HD720p 100MB
Despite its big name cast, a small production written and directed by Jon Favreau (Iron Man, Made, Cowboys & Aliens). When Chef Carl Casper (Favreau) suddenly quits his job at a prominent Los Angeles restaurant after refusing to compromise his creative integrity for its controlling owner (Dustin Hoffman), he is left to figure out what's next. Finding himself in Miami, he teams up with his ex-wife (Sofia Vergara), his friend (John Leguizamo) and his son to launch a food truck. Taking to the road, he goes back to his roots to reignite his passion for the kitchen - and zest for life and love. There will also be (mostly short) appearances by Bobby Cannavale, Oliver Platt, Scarlett Johansson and Robert Downey, Jr.
Probably not a multicourse meal, but maybe a tasty dessert.

Palo Alto     HD720p 35MB
Coming-of-age drama based on a collection of short stories by James Franco. Shy, sensitive April (Emma Roberts) is the class virgin, torn between an illicit flirtation with her soccer coach (Franco) and an unrequited crush on sweet stoner Teddy. Emily, meanwhile, offers sexual favours to every boy to cross her path including both Teddy and his best friend Fred, a live wire without filters or boundaries. As one high school party bleeds into the next - and April and Teddy struggle to admit their mutual affection - Fred's escalating recklessness starts to spiral into chaos. Directed by Gia Coppola, niece of Sofia and Roman, granddaughter of Francis Ford.
Festival reviews were pretty good. Also, a similar but still different trailer version from France: HD720p 15MB.

Lucky Them     HD1080p 69MB
Drama about a veteran rock journalist Ellie Klug (Toni Collette), more interested in partying and flirting with young musicians than work, who has one last chance to prove her value to her magazine's editor (Oliver Platt): a no-stone-unturned search to discover what really happened to long lost rock god Matthew Smith, who also happens to be her ex-boyfriend. Teaming up with an eccentric amateur documentary filmmaker (Thomas Haden Church), she hits the road in search of answers. Ryan Eggold, Nina Arianda and Ahna O'Reilly are also part of the cast.
Nice cast, but the trailer doesn't really pique my interest.

The Angriest Man in Brooklyn     HD720p 44MB
Comedy that tells the story of Henry Altmann (Robin Williams), who is having a horrible day, made much worse by his visit with Dr. Sharon Gill (Mila Kunis), who abruptly informs him that he only has 90 minutes to live. After storming out of the hospital in disbelief, he panics and races through Brooklyn in an attempt to right all of the wrongs in his life, while Sharon desperately scrambles to find him and get him into surgery. Melissa Leo, Peter Dinklage and Richard Kind are also part of the cast. Directed by Phil Alden Robinson (Sneakers, Field of Dreams, The Sum of All Fears).

Venus in Fur     HD480p 14MB   HD720p 62MB
US trailer for the big screen adaptation of the play by David Ives, directed by Roman Polanski (The Ghost Writer, Carnage, Death and the Maiden). Alone in a Paris theater after a long day of auditioning actresses for the lead role in his new play, writer-director Thomas (Mathieu Amalric) complains about the poor caliber of talent he has seen. As Thomas is about to leave the theater, Vanda (Emmanuelle Seigner) bursts in, a whirlwind of erratic erotic energy. When Thomas agrees, reluctantly, to let her try out for the part, he is stunned and captivated by her transformation. As the extended "audition" builds momentum, Thomas moves from attraction to obsession.
Great performances by the two actors. But the continuing changes in perspective for me became a bit hard to follow. If you like, the French trailer: HD720p 19MB.
