Trailer from France for this feelgood comedic drama set in the summer of 1984 based on real events. Margaret Thatcher is in power and the National Union of Mineworkers (NUM) is on strike. At the Gay Pride March in London, a group of gay and lesbian activists decides to raise money to support the families of the striking miners. But there is a problem. The Union seems embarrassed to receive their support. But the activists are not deterred. They decide to ignore the Union and go direct to the miners. They identify a mining village in deepest Wales and set off in a mini bus to make their donation in person. And so begins the extraordinary story of two seemingly alien communities who form a surprising and ultimately triumphant partnership. Cast members include Bill Nighy, Imelda Staunton, Dominic West, Andrew Scott and Paddy Considine.
I'd says Staunton pretty much steals the movie, or at least the trailer. I'll need subtitles for this one. Preferable not in French.

When she miraculously comes back to life, he takes full advantage of the opportunity to experience all the things he regretted not doing when she was alive. However, the newly returned Beth isn't quite the way he remembered her, and before long, his world takes a turn for the worse. John C. Reilly and Molly Shannon play her parents, Cheryl Hines and Paul Reiser his. Anna Kendrick also makes a late appearance.

Their bittersweet reunion reignites the love they've never forgotten, but soon they discover the forces that drove them apart twenty years ago live on, posing even more serious threats today. Directed by Michael Hoffman (One Fine Day, The Last Station, The Emperor's Club).

Looks funny. And will probably change the way you think about Gremlins.

I wouldn't post the trailer if it weren't for Elba and Henson since I hate the genre.
