In Order of Disappearance - Kraftidioten     HD720p 30MB
Very dark, comedic thriller from Norway. Introverted and hard-working snow plow driver Nils (Stellan Skarsgård) has just been named Citizen of The Year, when he receives news that his son has died of a heroin overdose. Disbelieving the official report, he soon uncovers evidence of the young man's murder - a victim in a turf war between the local crime boss, known as "The Count", and his Serbian rivals (Bruno Ganz putting in an appearance as a mafia boss). Armed with heavy machinery and a good dose of beginner’s luck, Nils embarks upon a quest for revenge that soon escalates into a full-blown underworld gang war, with the body count spiralling ever higher and higher.
That looks like fun. Now in limited release in the UK.

John Wick     HD720p 46MB
Action movie about an ex-hitman (Keanu Reeves) who comes out of retirement to track down the gangsters that took everything from him (spoiler: his dog and his car). Adrianne Palicki, Michael Nyqvist, Alfie Allen, Dean Winters, Bridget Moynahan, Lance Reddick, Ian McShane, John Leguizmo, Willem Dafoe and Jason Isaacs are also part of the cast. Directorial debut of stunt coordinator by Chad Stahelski who also was Neo's stunt double.
That looks pleasantly silly.

Gemma Bovery     HD720p 14MB
Comedic drama from France about Martin (Fabrice Luchini), a former Parisian bourgeois-bohemian, who has now become (mainly of his own volition) a baker in a Normandy village. All that remains of his youthful ambitions are a powerful imagination and a vivid passion for great literature, in particular that of Gustave Flaubert. We imagine his emotional state when a young English couple (Gemma Arterton, Jason Flemyng), with strangely familiar names, take up residence in a small neighboring farm. Not only are the newcomers called Gemma and Charles Bovery, but their behavior seems to be inspired by Flaubert's heroes. For the creator slumbering within Martin, the opportunity to shape - apart from his daily bread - the destinies of flesh and blood characters is too good to miss. Directed by Anne Fontaine (Coco Before Chanel, Nathalie..., The Girl from Monaco).
Again based on a graphic novel by Posy Simmonds (Tamara Drewe).

Bird People     HD720p 15MB
US trailer version for romantic drama set in the Paris airport zone, where two strangers are trying to make sense out of their lives: an American engineer (Josh Charles) under great professional and emotional pressure who decides to radically change the course of his existence, and a young hotel chambermaid (Anaïs Demoustier) who goes through a life-altering supernatural experience. Radha Mitchell, Roschdy Zem and Mathieu Amalric are also part of the cast. Directed by Pascale Ferran (Lady Chatterley).
Now in limited release in the US.

A Most Wanted Man     HD720p 29MB
UK trailer for this political thriller that follows a German spy (Philip Seymour Hoffman) as he tracks down Issa, a suspicious Chechen-Russian immigrant (Grigoriy Dobrygin) on the run in Hamburg. Pressured by his German and American colleagues to capture and interrogate his suspect as a Muslim terrorist, he instead asks for more time to carefully track Issa's movements and his relationship with his German immigration lawyer (Rachel McAdams). Also part of the cast are Robin Wright, Willem Dafoe, Daniel Brühl and Nina Hoss. Directed by Anton Corbijn (The American, Control), based on a novel by John le Carré, which itself was inspired by the life of Murat Kurnaz, a man who was abducted by the US government and tortured in Guantanamo. You know, the usual.
Now in limited release in the UK.
