Pain & Gain HD720p 49MB
First trailer for this action comedy directed by renowned auteur Michael Bay (Bad Boys, Bad Boys II, Transformers). It follows a group of bodybuilders (Mark Wahlberg, Dwayne Johnson, Anthony Mackie) who engage in a campaign of kidnapping, extortion and murder in Florida. Based on a true story, of course. Also part of the cast are Ed Harris, Rob Corddry, Tony Shalhoub and Rebel Wilson.
So far looks barely funny. And bodybuilders just look revolting.

New trailer for Baz Luhrmann's (Australia, Moulin Rouge!, Romeo + Juliet) "distinctive visual interpretation" in 3D of F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel. The movie follows a would-be writer (Tobey Maguire) as he leaves the Midwest and comes to New York City in the spring of 1922, an era of loosening morals, glittering jazz and bootleg kings. Chasing his own American Dream, he lands next door to a mysterious, party-giving millionaire, Jay Gatsby (Leonardo DiCaprio), and across the bay from his cousin (Carey Mulligan) and her philandering, blue-blooded husband (Joel Edgerton). It is thus that he is drawn into the captivating world of the super-rich, their illusions, loves and deceits. As he bears witness, within and without the world he inhabits, he pens a tale of impossible love, incorruptible dreams and high-octane tragedy.
I actually don't remember why it got delayed by about half a year. Maybe Luhrman thought it all looked too pallid and low-key and wanted it to be a little more flashy and colourful.

So the recent teaser was only meant as an appetiser. Here's the more melodramatic first trailer for the next Star Trek movie that will again be directed by J.J. Abrams (Super 8, Mission: Impossible III) that does a very good job to tease, it will be in theatres next May. When the crew of the Enterprise is called back home, they find an unstoppable force of terror (Benedict Cumberbatch) from within their own organization has detonated the fleet and everything it stands for, leaving our world in a state of crisis. With a personal score to settle, Captain Kirk leads a manhunt to a war-zone world to capture a one man weapon of mass destruction. The whole crew returns, new to the cast, besides Cumberbatch, are Alice Eve and Peter Weller.
To the Wonder 360p 9MB
The technical quality of the file isn't as good as it should be for a trailer for a movie written and directed by Terrence Malick (The Tree of Life, The New World, The Thin Red Line), but here's the first one from the UK. It's a romantic drama about a Midwesterner (Ben Affleck) who meets a woman (Olga Kurylenko) in Paris. After visiting Mont Saint-Michel - once known in France as "the Wonder" - at the height of their love, she returns with him to Oklahoma to be his wife. But the relationship soon falters. He finds himself drifting towards a childhood love (Rachel McAdams), she makes the acquaintance of a priest and fellow exile (Javier Bardem), who is struggling with his vocation.
Once again photographed by Emmanuel Lubezki, it clearly takes place in the same visual universe as The Tree of Life.

The Heat 720p 49MB
Not much different but still funny redband trailer variation for this odd couple action comedy about an uptight and straight-laced FBI Special Agent (Sandra Bullock) who is a methodical investigator with a reputation for excellence - and hyper-arrogance. And then there's one of Boston P.D.'s "finest" (Melissa McCarthy) who is foul-mouthed and has a very short fuse, and uses her gut instinct and street smarts to catch the most elusive criminals. Neither has ever had a partner, or a friend for that matter. When these two wildly incompatible law officers join forces to bring down a ruthless drug lord, they become the last thing anyone expected: buddies. Directed by Paul Feig (Bridesmaids) and written by Katie Dippold whos's involved in making "Parks and Recreation".
