You will either be delighted to hear or roll your eyes about the fact that Damon Lindelof co-wrote the story. And it is sort of related to a segment of the Disney theme parks.

When a group of true-crime enthusiasts find her twenty-five years later and convince her to re-examine the events of the night, new memories and old suspects suddenly flood back into her life. Chloë Grace Moretz, Nicholas Hoult, Christina Hendricks, Drea de Matteo and Tye Sheridan are also part of the cast.
Certainly not on the level as (Gone Girl), but it looks interesting.

Crime drama in which the world's best art forger (John Travolta) makes a deal with a crime syndicate to get an early release from prison, but in return he must pull of an impossible heist - he must forge a painting by Claude Monet, steal the original from a museum, and replace it with a replica so perfect that no one will notice. He enlists the help of his father (Christopher Plummer) and son (Tye Sheridan) and together they plan the heist of their lives. Jennifer Ehle, Abigail Spencer and Tye Sheridan are also part of the cast.
According to reviews Travolta gives a good performance here. But to be honest, I'm unable to look at his face.

When they get evicted from their shoebox apartment in Manhattan - conceptual art just doesn't cover the rent - they boldly take off to L.A. for the promise of sunshine. As one door slams shut, another opens - a tarot card reading later, the duo decide to take their performance art sensibilities to the mainstream by auditioning for a reality TV talent show. Megan Mullally, Jeffrey Tambor and Will Forte are also part of the cast.
An earlier title was "Trouble Dolls" which seems quite fitting.

Sometimes you watch trailers for movies that you wouldn't believe they exist if you hadn't just watched a trailer for them. This is one of those instances.
