Fantastic Four HD720p 51MB HD1080p 100MB
Second trailer for the "contemporary re-imagining of Marvel's original and longest-running superhero team" that seems to be targeted at the "young adult" portion of moviegoers. It centres on four young outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways. Their lives irrevocably upended, the team must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy. Miles Teller plays Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic, Kate Mara plays Sue Storm/The Invisible Woman, Michael B. Jordan plays Johnny Storm/The Human Torch and Jamie Bell Ben Grimm/The Thing. Also part of the cast are Toby Kebbell, Reg E. Cathey and Tim Blake Nelson. Directed by Josh Trank (Chronicle).
Maybe the first Fantastic Four movie wasn't that bad. Did I say that out loud?
The Overnight HD720p 19MB
Relationship comedy in which Alex (Adam Scott), Emily (Taylor Schilling), and their son, have recently moved to Los Angeles's Eastside from Seattle. Feeling lost in a new city, they are desperate to find their first new friends. After a chance meeting with Kurt (Jason Schwartzman, his wife played by Judith Godrèche) at the neighbourhood park, they gladly agree to join family pizza night at his home. But as it gets later and the kids go to bed, the family "playdate" becomes increasingly more revealing as the couples begin to open up.
This looks like a lot of fun.
The Little Prince HD720p 27MB
Animated feature film adaptation of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's classic novel. It's about The Little Girl (Mackenzie Foy), who's being prepared by her mother (Rachel McAdams) for the very grown-up world in which they live – only to be interrupted by her eccentric, kind-hearted neighbour, The Aviator (Jeff Bridges). He introduces his new friend to an extraordinary world where anything is possible. A world that he himself was initiated into long ago by The Little Prince. It's here that The Little Girl's magical and emotional journey into her own imagination begins. More voices will be provided by Marion Cotillard, James Franco, Paul Rudd, Benicio Del Toro, Paul Giamatti, Ricky Gervais and Albert Brooks. Directed by Mark Osborne Kung Fu Panda.
Movie will premiere Out of Competition next month in Cannes.
Jurassic World HD720p 48MB HD1080p 94MB
Second full trailer for the reboot of the popular franchise that takes place twenty-two years after the events of Jurassic Park. Isla Nublar now features a fully functioning dinosaur theme park, Jurassic World, as originally envisioned by John Hammond. As far as I can tell, no one except for BD Wong of the original cast returns, instead there will be Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jake Johnson, Judy Greer and Vincent D'Onofrio. For easier international marketing, Irrfan Khan and Omar Sy are also part of the cast. Directed, surprisingly, by Colin Trevorrow (Safety Not Guaranteed).
Aloft HD650p 22MB
Spiritual drama about the mother (Jennifer Connelly) of a young boy named Ivan who desperately seeks treatment to cure her youngest son, who has a terminal illness. Ivan, often scolded for not supporting his brother, retreats to falconry. When she follows a healing guru, the Architect, and Ivan's falcon destroys his restorative tent of twigs, she discovers that she also has the healing touch. Encouraged by the Architect, she starts treating other people's children, ultimately leading to a devastating consequence. Flashing forward, Ivan (Cillian Murphy) has his own family and continues to raise falcons. When a French documentary filmmaker (Mélanie Laurent) comes to him with information about his mother's now ample following, Ivan decides to accompany the woman on a trek to the Arctic Circle to reunite with his mother.
As much as I like some of the actors, this isn't my kind of story.
