Rogue One - A Star Wars Story     HD720p 63MB   HD1080p 109MB
This will probably become an annual event for the next decade or two, a first teaser trailer for a movie taking place at some place and some time in the Star Wars universe. A decidedly female universe. This one is a spin-off that takes place before Episode IV. It's about a rogue band of resistance fighters who unite to steal the Death Star plans and bring new hope to the galaxy. Cast members include Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Jiang Wen, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Riz Ahmed, and Forest Whitaker. Directed by Gareth Edwards (Godzilla, Monsters).
If the downloadable links to the Apple encodes don't hold, the Disney files: HD720p 36MB   HD1080p 96MB.

The BFG     HD720p 51MB   HD1080p 136MB
First full(er) trailer for this upcoming family movie directed by Steven Spielberg (Jurassic Park, Hook, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial) based on a book by Roald Dahl. The BFG (Mark Rylance), while a giant himself, is a Big Friendly Giant and nothing like the other inhabitants of Giant Country. Standing 24-feet tall with enormous ears and a keen sense of smell, he is endearingly dim-witted and keeps to himself for the most part. Giants like Bloodbottler (Bill Hader) and Fleshlumpeater (Jemaine Clement) on the other hand, are twice as big and at least twice as scary and have been known to eat humans, while the BFG prefers Snozzcumber and Frobscottle. Upon her arrival in Giant Country, Sophie (Ruby Barnhill), a precocious 10-year-old girl from London, is initially frightened of the mysterious giant but soon comes to realize that the BFG is actually quite gentle and charming. Rebecca Hall and Penelope Wilton are also part of the cast.

David Brent: Life on the Road     HD720p 27MB
UK teaser from the UK for this spin-off from "The Office" TV series. In it a documentary crew catches up with Brent (Ricky Gervais), who is now working as a travelling salesman, as he chases his dream of rock stardom by self-financing a UK tour with his band, "Foregone Conclusion". It is also written and directed by Gervais, and will apparently also feature songs written and performed by him.
The "joke" in the teaser really seems to never end.

Blood Father     HD720p 17MB
Trailer from Australia for this French produced action thriller about a 18-year-old (Erin Moriarty) who goes on the run After her drug kingpin boyfriend frames her for stealing a fortune in cartel cash. Now she has only one ally in this whole wide world: her perennial screw-up of a dad (Mel Gibson) who's been a drunk, a drug addict, a motorcycle outlaw, and a convict in his time, and now is determined to keep his little girl from harm and, for once in his life, do the right thing. Elisabeth Röhm, William H. Macy, Diego Luna, Thomas Mann and Michael Parks are also part of the cast. Directed by Jean-Francois Richet (Assault on Precinct 13, Mesrine: Public Enemy No. 1).

The Daughter     HD720p 13MB
Another trailer from Canada for this family drama from Australia loosely based on Henrik Ibsen's "The Wild Duck". In the last days of a dying logging town Christian (Paul Schneider) returns to his family home after a fifteen-year absence for his father Henry's (Geoffrey Rush) wedding to the much younger Anna (Anna Torv). While home, he reconnects with his childhood friend Oliver (Ewen Leslie), who has stayed in town working at Henry's timber mill and is now out of a job. As Christian gets to know Oliver's wife Charlotte (Miranda Otto), daughter (Odessa Young) and father (Sam Neill), he discovers a secret that could tear Oliver's family apart. As he tries to right the wrongs of the past, his actions threaten to shatter the lives of those he left behind years before.
