Rogue One: A Star Wars Story HD720p 86MB HD1080p 159MB
Final trailer for the spin-off that takes place before the events of Episode IV. It tells the story of rogue band of resistance fighters who unite to steal the Death Star plans and bring new hope to the galaxy. Cast members include Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Jiang Wen, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Riz Ahmed, and Forest Whitaker. Directed by Gareth Edwards (Godzilla, Monsters).
Pleased to see that Mikkelsen really is in the movie. If the above links don't hold: HD720p 47MB HD1080p 92MB.
Little Sister HD720p 12MB
Comedic drama set in October, 2008. Young nun Colleen (Addison Timlin) is avoiding all contact from her family, until an email from her mother announces, "Your brother is home". On returning to her childhood home in Asheville, NC, she finds her old room exactly how she left it: painted black and covered in goth/metal posters. Her parents (Ally Sheedy, Peter Hedges) are happy enough to see her, but unease and awkwardness abounds. Her brother (Keith Poulson) is living as a recluse in the guesthouse since returning home from the Iraq war. During her visit, tensions rise and fall with a little help from Halloween, pot cupcakes, and GWAR. Directed by Zach Clark (White Reindeer).
Looks nice. Now in limited release and available on demand.
Operator HD720p 16MB
Indie relationship drama with comedic elements in which an anxious programmer (Martin Starr) enlists the help of his empathetic wife (Mae Whitman) when given the task to create the perfect call center program. However, their relationship spirals out of control when he begins replacing her with an ideal computerised replica. Nat Faxon, Christine Lahti and Retta are also part of the cast.
The added layer of current technology trends could make this interesting.
Dog Eat Dog HD720p 81MB
It's not easy to keep track of all of Nic Cage's movies, but here's another collaboration of him with Paul Schrader (American Gigolo, Cat People, The Walker). And it's apparently better than most of Cage's recent output. Which arguably sets a very low bar.
It's a darkly comical (and brutal) crime caper in which three ex-cons (Cage, Willem Dafoe, Christopher Matthew Cook) are hired by an eccentric mob boss (Schrader) to kidnap a baby for a large ransom. When the abduction goes awry, the trio find themselves on the run from the mob and the cops. Vowing to stay out of prison at all costs, getting away with the crime is literally a matter of life and death.
Resident Evil: The Final Chapter HD720p 48MB HD1080p 93MB
Full trailer for what may or may not be the sixth and final movie of the series based on video games. Picking up immediately after the events in Resident Evil: Retribution, Alice (Milla Jovovich) is the only survivor of what was meant to be humanity's final stand against the undead. Now, she must return to where the nightmare began – The Hive in Raccoon City, where the Umbrella Corporation is gathering its forces for a final strike against the only remaining survivors of the apocalypse. Ali Larter, Shawn Roberts, Ruby Rose, Eoin Macken and Iain Glen are also part of the cast. Again written and directed by Paul W.S. Anderson (Resident Evil, Alien vs. Predator, Pompeii).
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them Feat HD720p 74MB
Four minutes IMAX featurette that contains some new footage. But the reason I'm posting it is because I wanted to mention the bit of news that they are planning to make this into a series of five movies.
