Murder on the Orient Express HD720p 66MB
First trailer for a new adaptation of the Agatha Christie novel, directed by Kenneth Branagh (Much Ado About Nothing, Thor, Cinderella). What starts out as a lavish train ride through Europe quickly unfolds into one of the most stylish, suspenseful and thrilling mysteries ever told. The tale of thirteen strangers (among them Penélope Cruz, Willem Dafoe, Judi Dench, Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer, Daisy Ridley, Josh Gad, Olivia Colman) stranded on a train, where everyone's a suspect. One man (Branagh) must race against time to solve the puzzle before the murderer strikes again.
It kind of lessens the interest if you already know the ending. Assuming Hollywood didn't change it, of course.
Baby Driver HD720p 71MB HD1080p 133MB
Another trailer called "TeKillYah" for this action heist movie written and directed by Edgar Wright (Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead, The World's End). It's about a talented, young getaway driver (Ansel Elgort) who relies on the beat of his personal soundtrack to be the best in the game. When he meets the girl of his dreams (Lily James), Baby sees a chance to ditch his criminal life and make a clean getaway. But after being coerced into working for a crime boss (Kevin Spacey), he must face the music when a doomed heist threatens his life, love and freedom. Jamie Foxx, Jon Hamm, Jon Bernthal, Eiza González and Flea are also part of the cast.
Further proof that Wright (or whoever cut the trailer) is very capable of editing a trailer to fit the music.
The Mountain Between Us HD720p 81MB
Action drama in which, stranded after a tragic plane crash, two strangers (Kate Winslet, Idris Elba) must forge a connection to survive the extreme elements of a remote snow covered mountain. When they realize help is not coming, they embark on a perilous journey across hundreds of miles of wilderness, pushing one another to endure and discovering strength they never knew possible. Directed by Hany Abu-Assad (Paradise Now, Omar).
6 Days HD720p 21MB
Intense thriller from the UK based on the events that took place in April 1980, when six armed gunmen stormed the Iranian Embassy in Princes Gate, London, taking 26 people inside hostage. Over the next six days a tense standoff took place, all the while a group of highly trained soldiers from the SAS prepared for a raid, the likes of which the world had never seen before. Cast members include Jamie Bell, Mark Strong, Abbie Cornish and Tim Pigott-Smith.
Good Time HD720p 70MB
Thriller drama in which, after a botched bank robbery lands his younger brother in prison, Constantine "Connie" Nikas (Robert Pattinson) embarks on a twisted odyssey through the city's underworld in an increasingly desperate - and dangerous - attempt to get him out of jail. Over the course of one adrenalized night, Connie finds himself racing against the clock to save his brother and himself, knowing both their lives hang in the balance. Barkhad Abdi and Jennifer Jason Leigh are also part of the cast.
Movie recently took part in the official competition in Cannes where it was very well received. Pattinson was described as giving a career-peak performance. Which may sound like faint praise, but he really does very well here.

Date: 3 Jun 2017 00:42 (UTC)I just want Baby Driver now, but I'll have to wait until 19 July. Also, I find it interesting that the US and the International trailers are the same, partly because they even use the same pull quotes (usually they go for more regional stuff, even if they're using websites).
Someone pointed out how distracting it is if you know that the two leads are British and yet one uses their natural-ish accent while the other goes full American. I was a bit puzzled about that during The Force Awakens, too. Looks interesting either way.

Date: 4 Jun 2017 09:50 (UTC)*insert my usual complaint about not wanting to see a dubbed version of "Baby Driver" here*
Somehow I was constantly expecting for Liam Neeson to pop up in the snow. ;)
I do wonder if this is Branagh's swan song
