Kajillionaire     HD720p 100MB
Comedic drama written and directed by Miranda July (The Future, Me and You and Everyone We Know). Con-artists Theresa (Debra Winger) and Robert (Richard Jenkins) have spent 26 years training their only daughter, Old Dolio (Evan Rachel Wood), to swindle, scam, and steal at every opportunity. During a desperate, hastily conceived heist, they charm a stranger (Gina Rodriguez) into joining their next scam, only to have their entire world turned upside down.
Festival reviews are very good. Though the trailer looks a bit too twee.

Honest Thief     HD1080p 24MB
Action thriller, in which, wanting to lead an honest life, a notorious bank robber (Liam Neeson) turns himself in, only to be double-crossed by two ruthless FBI agents (Jai Courtney, Jeffrey Donovan). Kate Walsh, Anthony Ramos and Robert Patrick are also part of the cast.
Neeson plays another variation of his trademark character. Could still be entertaining.

She Dies Tomorrow     HD720p 66MB
Psychodrama written and directed by Amy Seimetz. After waking up convinced that she is going to die tomorrow, Amy’s (Kate Lyn Sheil) carefully mended life begins to unravel. As her delusions of certain death become contagious to those around her, she and her friends’ lives spiral out of control in a tantalizing descent into madness. Jane Adams, Katie Aselton, Chris Messina and Michelle Rodriguez are also part of the cast.
It's not my preferred genre, but reviews are very favourable. Now available on streaming platforms.

I Used to Go Here     HD720p 70MB
Comedic drama about 35-year-old writer Kate Conklin (Gillian Jacobs), who, following the lackluster launch of her debut novel, receives an invitation from her former professor and old crush (Jemaine Clement) to speak at her alma mater. With her book tour cancelled, and her ego deflated, she decides to take the trip, wondering if returning to her old college as a published author might give her the morale boost she sorely needs. Instead, she falls into a comical regression – from misadventures with eccentric twenty-year olds to feelings of jealousy toward her former professor’s new favorite student. Hannah Marks, Kate Micucci, Jorma Taccone and Zoe Chao are also part of the cast.

The Go-Go's     HD1080p 65MB
Documentary about the Go-Go’s. In their early days in the Los Angeles punk scene, Belinda Carlisle and Jane Wiedlin were inspired, ambitious, and determined. They formed an all-girl band, called themselves the Go-Go’s, learned to play their instruments, and wrote their own songs. Their ascent in the early 1980s coalesced with great group chemistry, the birth of MTV and the music video, and their chart-topping album, Beauty and the Beat. However, as the pressure of fame and success grew, a familiar story set in, and hard drugs and alcohol, infighting, and resentment began taking their toll on them.
Now showing/streaming on Showtime.

Miranda July is someone I keep hearing about in passing but I've never watched her movies. But that is One Hell of a Cast.

I Used to Go Here looks okay-ish. It's the kind of dramedy I'd have eaten up a decade ago.

I should watch The Go-Go's at some point. I like their music and I didn't connect the dots that Jane Wiedlin was also Joan of Arc in Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure until long after I rewatched the movie in preparation for Face the Music.
