Full trailer for this apocalyptic sci-fi thriller that takes place on a future Earth that has evolved beyond recognition. Jack Harper (Tom Cruise) is one of the last few drone repairmen stationed on Earth. Part of a massive operation to extract vital resources after decades of war with a terrifying threat known as the Scavs, his mission is nearly complete. Living in and patrolling the breathtaking skies from thousands of feet above, his soaring existence is brought crashing down when he rescues a beautiful stranger (Olga Kurylenko) from a downed spacecraft. Her arrival triggers a chain of events that forces him to question everything he knows and puts the fate of humanity in his hands. Also part of the cast are Morgan Freeman, Andrea Riseborough, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Melissa Leo. Directed by Joseph Kosinski (TRON: Legacy).

Looks like next year's big budget releases will mostly be sequels or end-of-the world movies. Here's the first trailer for another one. A crash landing leaves a teenager (Jaden Smith) and his legendary father (Will Smith) stranded on Earth, 1,000 years after cataclysmic events forced humanity's escape. With his dad critically injured, he must embark on a perilous journey to signal for help, facing uncharted terrain, evolved animal species that now rule the planet, and an unstoppable alien creature that escaped during the crash.
I'm amused by the fact that the trailer doesn't mention that this is directed and co-written by M. Night Shyamalan (The Sixth Sense, The Happening, The Last Airbender). I'll edit the post if true hi-def files become available in the next couple of hours.

In it the famed masked hero is brought to life through new eyes. Native American spirit warrior Tonto (Depp) recounts the untold tales that transformed John Reid (Armie Hammer), a man of the law, into a legend of justice—taking the audience on a runaway train of epic surprises and humorous friction as the two unlikely heroes must learn to work together and fight against greed and corruption. Tom Wilkinson, Helena Bonham Carter, William Fichtner, Barry Pepper, James Badge Dale and Ruth Wilson round up the cast.

Expected for a while, the redband trailer version for the latest comedy written and directed by Judd Apatow (The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Knocked Up, Funny People). It's sort of related to Knocked Up since it expands on the characters of Pete (Paul Rudd) and Debbie (Leslie Mann), the long-married couple from that movie. Also part of the cast are Jason Segel, Megan Fox, John Lithgow, Melissa McCarthy, Albert Brooks and Chris O'Dowd.

13 minute special (from what I've read that's three minutes shorter than the end credits) in which many of the people involved making Episode I talk about their experience. And just a reminder, if you are put off by the talk about the strange look of the 48fps projection, just look for a regular 24fps screening. Which I suspect will be the majority anyway.
