Tammy HD480p 43MB HD720p 104MB
R rated comedy about Tammy (Melissa McCarthy) who is having a bad day. She's totaled her clunker car, gotten fired from her thankless job at a greasy burger joint, and instead of finding comfort at home, finds her husband getting comfortable with the neighbor in her own house. It's time to take her boom box and book it. The bad news is she’s broke and without wheels. The worse news is her grandma (Susan Sarandon) is her only option - with a car, cash, and an itch to see Niagara Falls. Also part of the cast are Allison Janney, Gary Cole, Dan Aykroyd, Kathy Bates and Toni Collette. Directorial debut of McCarthy's husband Ben Falcone, the two also wrote the screenplay.
Also an earlier teaser that was more like an extended scene: HD480p 31MB HD720p 81MB.
The Salvation HD720p 36MB
Western drama set in 1870s America. When a settler (Mads Mikkelsen) kills his family's murderer, he unleashes the fury of a notorious gang leader (Jeffrey Dean Morgan). Betrayed by his corrupt and cowardly community, the peaceful pioneer must turn vengeful hunter, slay the outlaws, and cleanse the town's black heart. Also part of the cast are Eva Green, Eric Cantona, Jonathan Pryce and Mikael Persbrandt.
(Mostly) Europeans making a Western. Could be interesting.
Lullaby HD480p 28MB HD720p 100MB
Estranged from his family, Jonathan (Garrett Hedlund) discovers his father (Richard Jenkins) has decided to take himself off life support in forty-eight hours’ time. During this intensely condensed period, a lifetime of drama plays out. The father fights a zero sum game to reclaim all that his illness stole from his family. A debate rages on patients' rights and what it truly means to be free. Jonathan reconciles with his father, reconnects with his mother (Anne Archer), sister (Jessica Brown Findlay), and his love (Amy Adams) and reclaims his voice through two unlikely catalysts - a young, wise-beyond-her-years patient (Jessica Barden) and a no-nonsense nurse (Jennifer Hudson). There's also Terrence Howard.
Will make you cry buckets.
What We Do in the Shadows HD720p 20MB
Mockumentary from New Zealand about flatmates Viago (Taika Waititi), Deacon (Jonny Brugh), and Vladislav (Jemaine Clement), three vampires who are just trying to get by in modern society; from paying rent and sticking to the housework roster to trying to get invited in to nightclubs, they're just like anyone else - except they're immortal and must feast on human blood. When their 8000 year-old flatmate Petyr, turns 20-something human hipster Nick, into a vampire, the guys must teach him the ropes and guide him through his new found eternal life. And in return they are forced to learn a thing or two about modern society, fashions, technology, and the internet. Also written by Clement and Waititi ("Flight of the Conchords", Boy, Eagle vs Shark).
Genre fans were delighted after its Sundance premiere, the reviewer from Variety didn't find it particularly funny. Judging by the trailer I unfortunately tend to side with the Variety guy.
The Discoverers HD720p 33MB
Low-key comedic drama about a washed-up history professor (Griffin Dunne) who takes his two begrudging teenagers on a road trip to a conference in hopes of jumpstarting his career and reconnecting with his kids. But, when his estranged father Stanley (Stuart Margolin) goes missing on a Lewis and Clark historical reenactment trek, he's forced to make a family detour. The family find themselves on a journey of discovery and connection as they make their own passage west. John C. McGinley, David Rasche, Scott Adsit, Ann Dowd and Dreama Walker are also part of the cast.
Serves at least as a reminder that Dunne is still alive and can act when giving the right material.
