UK trailer for the latest amusing, absurdist movie from Greek director Yorgos Lanthimos (Dogtooth, Alps). It's an unconventional love story set in the very near future, where society demands that we live as couples. Single people are rounded up and sent to a seaside compound - part resort and part minimum-security prison - where they are given a finite number of days to find a match. If they don’t succeed, they will be “altered” and turned into animals. The recently divorced David (Colin Farrell) arrives at The Hotel with his brother, now a dog; in the event of failure, he has chosen to become a lobster because they live so long. When David falls in love, he's up against a new set of rules established by another, rebellious order: for romantics, there's nowhere to run, nowhere to hide. Rachel Weisz, Olivia Colman, John C. Reilly, Ben Whishaw, Léa Seydoux, Ariane Labed and Ashley Jensen are also part of the cast.

Under Commandant's control, Agu is forced to fight battles and commit acts beyond his comprehension. Directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga (Jane Eyre, True Detective, Sin nombre).
First major movie that will be distributed by Netflix, to be simultaneously released in theatres and available to their subscribers.

As he retreats further into a hedonistic lifestyle, his mother's (Cynthia Nixon) battle with a serious illness faces a series of setbacks that force him to assume more responsibility. With the pressure on him mounting, he must find new reserves of strength or risk imploding completely. Ron Livingston is also part of the cast.
Was very well received in Sundance, especially because of the performances by Abbott and Nixon. Though it's not an easy watch.
