Juror #2 HD720p 18MB
Trailer for the latest movie directed by 94-year-old Clint Eastwood (Mystic River, Gran Torino, Sully). It's a courtroom drama that follows family man Justin Kemp (Nicholas Hoult) who, while serving as a juror in a high-profile murder trial, finds himself struggling with a serious moral dilemma…one he could use to sway the jury verdict and potentially convict - or free - the accused killer. Toni Collette, J.K. Simmons, Chris Messina, Zoey Deutch and Kiefer Sutherland are also part of the cast.
Looks like an again a bit more interesting Eastwood film.
Queer HD720p 31MB
Trailer for the latest movie directed by Luca Guadagnino (Call Me By Your Name, Challengers, I Am Love), a drama based on a novel by William S. Burroughs. 1950. William Lee (Daniel Craig), an American expat in Mexico City in his early 50s, spends his days almost entirely alone, except for a few contacts with other members of the small American community. He's also frequenting gay bars, and ingesting whatever illicit substances are available. His encounter with a young student (Drew Starkey) new to the city, shows him, for the first time, that it might be finally possible to establish an intimate connection with somebody. Jason Schwartzman and Lesley Manville are also part of the cast.
Festival reviews are favourable, praising Craig's performance.
Lake George HD720p 28MB
Darkly comedic neo-noir about Don (Shea Whigham), who is tasked by mobsters with putting an end to Phyllis’ (Carrie Coon) life, unable to pull the trigger, and instead, the two set off on a road trip that evolves into something much more. Phyllis has designs of her own and proposes a little tag team action to Don: combine forces with the aim to steal all the money from the people who want her dead.
The Legend of Ochi HD720p 35MB
Unusual looking fantasy adventure set in a remote northern village, where a young girl (Helena Zengel) is raised to never go outside after dark and to fear the reclusive forest creatures known as the ochi. When a baby ochi is left behind by its pack, she embarks on the adventure of a lifetime to reunite it with its family. Finn Wolfhard, Emily Watson and Willem Dafoe are also part of the cast.
Just seeing Willem Dafoe puts a smile on my face. The career of young Helena Zengel is remarkable.
Presence HD720p 14MB
Usually a genre I tend to ignore. But this haunted house film is directed by Steven Soderbergh (Contagion, Traffic, Ocean's Eleven) and festival reviews have been very favourable. A family moves into a suburban home and becomes convinced they're not alone. The movie is apparently "told" (or at least filmed) from the point of view of a housebound spirit. Cast members include Lucy Liu, Chris Sullivan and Julia Fox.
