Juror #2     HD720p 18MB
Trailer for the latest movie directed by 94-year-old Clint Eastwood (Mystic River, Gran Torino, Sully). It's a courtroom drama that follows family man Justin Kemp (Nicholas Hoult) who, while serving as a juror in a high-profile murder trial, finds himself struggling with a serious moral dilemma…one he could use to sway the jury verdict and potentially convict - or free - the accused killer. Toni Collette, J.K. Simmons, Chris Messina, Zoey Deutch and Kiefer Sutherland are also part of the cast.
Looks like an again a bit more interesting Eastwood film.

Queer     HD720p 31MB
Trailer for the latest movie directed by Luca Guadagnino (Call Me By Your Name, Challengers, I Am Love), a drama based on a novel by William S. Burroughs. 1950. William Lee (Daniel Craig), an American expat in Mexico City in his early 50s, spends his days almost entirely alone, except for a few contacts with other members of the small American community. He's also frequenting gay bars, and ingesting whatever illicit substances are available. His encounter with a young student (Drew Starkey) new to the city, shows him, for the first time, that it might be finally possible to establish an intimate connection with somebody. Jason Schwartzman and Lesley Manville are also part of the cast.
Festival reviews are favourable, praising Craig's performance.

Lake George     HD720p 28MB

The Legend of Ochi     HD720p 35MB
Unusual looking fantasy adventure set in a remote northern village, where a young girl (Helena Zengel) is raised to never go outside after dark and to fear the reclusive forest creatures known as the ochi. When a baby ochi is left behind by its pack, she embarks on the adventure of a lifetime to reunite it with its family. Finn Wolfhard, Emily Watson and Willem Dafoe are also part of the cast.
Just seeing Willem Dafoe puts a smile on my face. The career of young Helena Zengel is remarkable.

Presence     HD720p 14MB
Usually a genre I tend to ignore. But this haunted house film is directed by Steven Soderbergh (Contagion, Traffic, Ocean's Eleven) and festival reviews have been very favourable. A family moves into a suburban home and becomes convinced they're not alone. The movie is apparently "told" (or at least filmed) from the point of view of a housebound spirit. Cast members include Lucy Liu, Chris Sullivan and Julia Fox.

Festival reviews confirm that the movie is just as tense as the trailer.

La Cocina     HD1080p 22MB
Adaptation of a play about life behind the scenes of a busy Times Square restaurant. The stylishly filmed drama explores the illusions of the American dream and the lengths to which the kitchen’s working class and largely undocumented staff must go to achieve it. At the heart of the ensemble cast is a Mexican chef (Raúl Briones), a fiery-tempered dreamer entangled in a turbulent affair with Julia (Rooney Mara), a harried waitress with her own crosses to bear. When $800 goes missing and everyone becomes a suspect, the resulting tension threatens to push the kitchen’s unrelenting pace and hierarchical divisions further into chaos.

Christmas Eve in Miller's Point     HD720p 35MB
Deliberately retro trailer for this comedic drama set on Christmas Eve, where a family gathers for what could be the last holiday in their ancestral home. As the night wears on and generational tensions arise, one of the teenagers sneaks out with her friends to claim the wintry suburb for her own. There are appearances by Gregg Turkington and Michael Cera, but it has a large ensemble cast of mostly lesser known actors.
Festival reviews describe it as actually being wholehearted and sincere.

The Seed of the Sacred Fig - Danaye anjir-e moabad     HD1080p 18MB
Social drama in the form of a tense thriller from Iran. It centers on a family thrust into the public eye when Iman is appointed as an investigating judge in Tehran. As political unrest erupts in the streets, he realizes that his job is even more dangerous than expected, making him increasingly paranoid and distrustful, even of his own wife Najmeh and daughters Sana and Rezvan. Written and directed by Mohammad Rasoulof (There Is No Evil ). He has numerously been arrested and sentenced in Iran and now has fled the country. You can say he knows the local justice system well.
It's close to three hours long. But judging by festival reviews, that's not a problem.

Connie Nielsen and Derek Jacobi will return. New cast additions besides Mescal are Pedro Pascal and Denzel Washington. Again directed by Ridley Scott (The Martian, American Gangster, Kingdom of Heaven).
Scott turns 87 later this year. Not a lot of people around in Hollywood who are capable of producing movies on such a scale on a regular basis.

Rumours     HD720p 32MB
Redband trailer for this hard to describe absurd satire about the seven leaders (Cate Blanchett, Charles Dance, Roy Dupuis, Denis Menochet, Nikki Amuka-Bird, Rolando Ravello, Takehiro Hira) of the world’s wealthiest liberal democracies who, at their annual G7 summit, lost in the woods at night, while attempting to draft their provisional statement filled with platitudes and nonsense and addressing an unnamed crisis, don’t realize they’ve been abandoned by their servers. Megalopolis     Tlr1 HD720p 30MB    Tlr2 HD720p 17MB
Two more trailer for the latest movie written and directed by Francis Ford Coppola (The Godfather trilogy, Apocalypse Now, One from the Heart) that's increasingly mired in controversy. It's described as being a Roman Epic fable set in an imagined Modern America. Emily Watson is also part of the cast. Based on the novel by Claire Keegan.
I don't think I want to see another film about the misdeeds of the Catholic Church, but festival reviews are very favourable.

Once the Catholic Church’s most powerful leaders have gathered from around the world and are locked together in the Vatican halls, he finds himself at the center of a conspiracy and discovers a secret that could shake the very foundation of The Church. Stanley Tucci, John Lithgow, Isabella Rossellini, Lucian Msamati, Brian F. O'Byrne and Sergio Castellitto are also part of the cast. Directed by German Edward Berger who was unexpectedly successful last year with his adaptation of All Quiet on the Western Front.

Set in the influential New York music scene of the early '60s, it follows 19-year-old Minnesota musician Dylan's (Cate Blanchett Timothee Chalamet) meteoric rise as a folk singer to concert halls and the top of the charts - his songs and mystique becoming a worldwide sensation - culminating in his groundbreaking electric rock and roll performance at the Newport Folk Festival in 1965. Edward Norton, Elle Fanning, Monica Barbaro, Boyd Holbrook and Scoot McNairy are also part of the cast. Directed by James Mangold (Walk the Line, Logan, Ford v Ferrari).

Joker: Folie a Deux     HD720p 42MB
Second trailer for the sequel, again directed by Todd Phillips (The Hangover, War Dogs, Old School). It finds Arthur Fleck (Joaquin Phoenix) institutionalized at Arkham awaiting trial for his crimes as Joker. While struggling with his dual identity, he not only stumbles upon true love, but also finds the music that's always been inside him. Lady Gaga plays Harley Quinn, who in this variation seems to be a music therapist. Zazie Beetz returns, new cast additions are Steve Coogan, Brendan Gleeson and Catherine Keener.

A Different Man     HD720p 24MB
Darkly comedic, twisted drama about an ambitious New York actor (Sebastian Stan) who undergoes a radical surgical procedure to drastically transform his appearance. As a result, a lot of things change in his life – and yet everything remains disturbingly the same. Even though he may have changed outwardly and can start a new life, he is still who he is and not who he wants to be. Then he misses out on the role of a lifetime and his new dream face turns into a nightmare. Renate Reinsve and Adam Pearson are also part of the cast.
Was very well received at festivals.

After meeting with newly elected U.S. President Thaddeus Ross (Harrison Ford), Sam (Anthony Mackie) finds himself in the middle of an international incident. He must discover the reason behind a nefarious global plot before the true mastermind has the entire world seeing red. Also part of the cast are Danny Ramirez, Carl Lumbly, Shira Haas, Liv Tyler, Tim Blake Nelson, Rosa Salazar and Giancarlo Esposito. Directed by Julius Onah (The Cloverfield Paradox, Luce).
Will probably be a serious test if there's still demand for movies from the MCU.

Anora     HD720p 28MB
Redband trailer for the latest movie written and directed by Sean Baker (The Florida Project, Tangerine, Red Rocket). It's a high-energy drama with some dark humour about Anora (Mikey Madison), a young sex worker from Brooklyn, who gets her chance at a Cinderella story when she meets and impulsively marries the son of an oligarch. Once the news reaches Russia, her fairytale is threatened as the parents set out for New York to get the marriage annulled.
The movie won the Golden Palm in Cannes in May where it was very well received.

J.K. Simmons, Mike Colter and Jackie Earle Haley are also part of the cast.
Probably not any worse than the other fare the Netflix algorithm tends to churn out. Will start streaming August 16th.

Lee     HD720p 32MB
Biographical drama about a pivotal decade in the life of American war correspondent and photographer, Lee Miller (Kate Winslet). Her singular talent and unbridled tenacity resulted in some of the 20th century's most indelible images of war, including an iconic photo of Miller herself, posing defiantly in Hitler's private bathtub. Andy Samberg, Marion Cotillard, Josh O'Connor, Andrea Riseborough, Alexander Skarsgård and Noémie Merlant are also part of the cast.
Festival reviews praise Winslet's performance. But it also seems an instance where watching a documentary about Lee would be an acceptable option.

Here     HD720p 23MB
Trailer for the latest movie directed by Robert Zemeckis (The Polar Express, Pinocchio, Beowulf. But also Back to the Future, Cast Away, Contact). He never seems to be able to resist using the latest CGI fad - in this case digital "de-aging" - that will often distract from the story telling. Summary says that it's a "film about multiple families and a special place they inhabit. The story travels through generations, capturing the human experience in its purest form." Yeah, well, if you say so. Cast members include Tom Hanks, Robin Wright, Paul Bettany, Kelly Reilly and Michelle Dockery.

With rage in his heart and the future of the Empire at stake, he must look to his past to find strength and honor to return the glory of Rome to its people. Connie Nielsen and Derek Jacobi will return. New cast additions besides Mescal are Pedro Pascal and Denzel Washington. Again directed by Ridley Scott (The Martian, American Gangster, Kingdom of Heaven).

Red One     HD720p 38MB
Action comedy in which, after Santa Claus – Code Name: RED ONE (J. K. Simmons) – is kidnapped, the North Pole's Head of Security (Dwayne Johnson) must team up with the world’s most infamous bounty hunter (Chris Evans) in a globe-trotting, action-packed mission to save Christmas. Lucy Liu and Bonnie Hunt are also part of the cast. Directed by Jake Kasdan (Bad Teacher, Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle, Walk Hard).
Sounds and looks totally preposterous. Unclear if it will be preposterous enough to be enjoyable. Was apparently meant to stream on Amazon Prime, but will now have a theatrical release.

We Live in Time     HD720p 30MB
Decade-spanning romantic drama about Almut (Florence Pugh) and Tobias (Andrew Garfield) who are brought together in a surprise encounter that changes their lives. As they embark on a path challenged by the limits of time, they learn to cherish each moment of the unconventional route their love story has taken. Directed by John Crowley (Brooklyn, The Goldfinch, Boy A).
I think that's what you call a weepie.

Copa 71     HD1080p 50MB
Since the Euro 24 football tournament is currently taking place, here's a trailer for a documentary that tells the extraordinary story of the 1971 Women’s World Cup, which was held in Mexico City and witnessed by more than 100,000 fans. This landmark tournament was dismissed by FIFA and written out of sports history - until now.
It has to be seen to be believed.

Paddington in Peru     HD720p 32MB

Alien: Romulus     HD720p 21MB

Among the better known cast members are Cailee Spaeny and Isabela Merced. Directed by Fede Alvarez (The Girl in the Spider's Web, Don't Breathe, Evil Dead).
If you're interested in how the movie will fit into the franchise timeline it's probably best to have a look at the IMDb trivia section. You'll also learn that apparently the film was originally scheduled to be released on Hulu.

Kinds of Kindness     HD720p 18MB
Another short trailer for the new movie directed by Yorgos Lanthimos (Poor Things, The Favourite, Dogtooth). It's a triptych fable, following a man without choice who tries to take control of his own life; a policeman who is alarmed that his wife who was missing-at-sea has returned and seems a different person; and a woman determined to find a specific someone with a special ability, who is destined to become a prodigious spiritual leader. Cast members include Emma Stone, Jesse Plemons, Willem Dafoe, Margaret Qualley, Hong Chau, Joe Alwyn, Mamoudou Athie and Hunter Schafer.
Premiered recently in Cannes, Jesse Plemons received the Best Actor award for his performance. It's apparently just as strange and darkly funny as the trailer makes it look like.

Am I Ok?     HD1080p 41MB
Comedic, romantic drama about Lucy (Dakota Johnson ) and Jane (Sonoya Mizuno) who have been best friends their entire lives. Was well received at festivals.

But when a second fixer (Brad Pitt) shows up and the two “lone wolves” are forced to work together, they find their night spiraling out of control in ways that neither one of them expected. Written and directed by Jon Watts (the most recent Spider-Man trilogy, Cop Car).
Not as smooth as during their first pairing more than twenty years ago. After a theatrical release in September it will probably become available on Apple+.

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice     HD720p 33MB
Trailer for the sequel, 36 years after the first film, again directed by Tim Burton (Alice in Wonderland, Sleepy Hollow, Big Fish). After an unexpected family tragedy, three generations of the Deetz family return home to Winter River. Still haunted by Beetlejuice (Michael Keaton), Lydia's (Winona Ryder) life is turned upside down when her rebellious teenage daughter (Jenna Ortega) discovers the mysterious model of the town in the attic and the portal to the Afterlife is accidentally opened. Catherine O'Hara also returns. Monica Bellucci, Willem Dafoe, Justin Theroux, Arthur Conti, Burn Gorman and Danny DeVito are also part of the cast.
I hesitate to mention that I haven't seen the first movie. An earlier teaser: HD720p 19MB.

Second trailer for the fourth movie about the world’s favorite supervillain-turned-Anti-Villain League-agent who returns for an exciting, bold new era of Minions mayhem. A new chapter has begun as Gru (Steve Carrell), Lucy (Kristen Wiig), and their three girls welcome a new member to the Gru family, Gru Jr., who is intent on tormenting his dad. As Gru faces a new nemesis in Maxime Le Mal (Will Ferrell) and his femme fatale girlfriend Valentina (Sofía Vergara), the family is forced to go on the run.

Longing     HD720p 25MB
Drama with thriller elements about a business mogul (Richard Gere) runs into his old small town girlfriend (Suzanne Clément) while she is visiting the big city only to find out that they had a child together that he was unaware of. He's immediately consumed by the extraordinary twists of a new life he never could have imagined. With each new encounter, Daniel uncovers a deeper layer of this fascinating mystery until he arrives at a crossroad in his own life. Diane Kruger is also part of the cast. Directed by Israeli Savi Gabizon who's remaking his own film.
The set-up feels quite constructed. But the original was well-received, so it might be worth a look.

Robot Dreams     HD720p 22MB
Dialogue-free, animated movie based on the graphic novel by Sara Varon about friendship, its importance, and its fragility. Dog lives in Manhattan and he’s tired of being alone. One day he decides to build himself a robot, a companion. Their friendship blossoms, until they become inseparable, to the rhythm of 80’s NYC. One summer night, Dog, with great sadness, is forced to abandon Robot at the beach. Will they ever meet again? Directed by Spaniard director Pablo Berger (Blancanieves, Torremolinos 73).
I posted a first trailer for this charming little film last July. By now it's been Oscar nominated, and it will finally be released in the US this weekend. The previous, much better trailer: HD1080p 33MB.

Megalopolis     HD720p 21MB
First short trailer for the latest, and maybe last movie written and directed by Francis Ford Coppola (The Godfather trilogy, Apocalypse Now, One from the Heart). It's described as being a Roman Epic fable set in an imagined Modern America. The City of New Rome must change, causing conflict between Cesar Catilina (Adam Driver), a genius artist who seeks to leap into a utopian, idealistic future, and his opposition, Mayor Franklyn Cicero (Giancarlo Esposito), who remains committed to a regressive status quo, perpetuating greed, special interests, and partisan warfare. Torn between them is socialite Julia Cicero (Nathalie Emmanuel), the mayor’s daughter, whose love for Cesar has divided her loyalties, forcing her to discover what she truly believes humanity deserves. Also part of the cast are Jon Voight, Laurence Fishburne, Aubrey Plaza, Shia LaBeouf, Jason Schwartzman and Dustin Hoffman.
Coppola financed the movie with his own money. An industry screening last month to find a Hollywood distributor did not go well. A report about chaos on the set surfaced earlier this week. Last night it premiered during the official competition in Cannes to mixed reviews. It certainly sounds and looks ambitious.

Firebrand     HD720p 31MB
Historical drama set in blood-soaked Tudor England, where twice married, accomplished, and educated Katherine Parr (Alicia Vikander), reluctantly agrees to become the sixth wife of the tyrannical King Henry VIII (Jude Law). Her consent to marry him carries great personal risk, given that her predecessors are either vanquished, beheaded, or dead. When Henry appoints her as Regent, the nation’s ruler during his absence when he departs to fight overseas, he lays a dangerous path for her. Henry’s courtiers, suspecting she’s sympathetic to radical Protestant beliefs that have taken root in the kingdom and are a threat to their power, scheme against her and cast doubts upon her fidelity to the increasingly ailing and paranoid King. Erin Doherty, Eddie Marsan, Sam Riley and Simon Russell Beale are also part of the cast.

Thelma     HD720p 25MB
Comedic (action) drama about Thelma Post (June Squibb), a feisty 93-year-old grandmother who gets conned by a phone scammer pretending to be her grandson (Fred Hechinger) and sets out on a treacherous quest across Los Angeles, accompanied by an aging friend (Richard Roundtree) and his motorized scooter, to reclaim what was taken from her. Parker Posey, Clark Gregg and Malcolm McDowell are also part of the cast.
Festival reviews agree that it's about time Squibb got a leading role.

A Quiet Place: Day One     HD720p 32MB
Trailer for this apocalyptic horror film that's some sort of spin-off/prequel. Official "summary" only says: Experience the day the world went quiet. Cast members include Lupita Nyong'o, Joseph Quinn and Alex Wolff. Djimon Hounsou will return from the second movie. Directed by Michael Sarnoski (Pig).

Following an encounter with The Wonderful Wizard of Oz (Jeff Goldblum), their friendship reaches a crossroads and their lives take very different paths. Michelle Yeoh and Jonathan Bailey are also part of the cast. Directed by Jon M. Chu (Crazy Rich Asians, In the Heights, Now You See Me 2).

Blink Twice     HD720p 40MB
Comedic (horror) drama that marks the directorial debut of Zoë Kravitz, she also co-wrote the script. When tech billionaire Slater King (Channing Tatum) meets cocktail waitress Frida (Naomi Ackie) at his fundraising gala, sparks fly. He invites her to join him and his friends on a dream vacation on his private island. It’s paradise. Wild nights blend into sun soaked days and everyone's having a great time. No one wants this trip to end, but as strange things start to happen, Frida begins to question her reality. Alia Shawkat, Simon Rex, Adria Arjona, Haley Joel Osment, Christian Slater, Kyle MacLachlan and Geena Davis are also part of the cast.
Trailer does a very good job making you wonder what's going here.

Transformers One     HD720p 44MB
CG-animated action comedy about the untold origin story of Optimus Prime and Megatron, better known as sworn enemies, but once were friends bonded like brothers who changed the fate of Cybertron forever.
I thought this franchise had run its course. But here's another attempt to keep it alive by using a more light-hearted approach and employing a high-caliber voice-cast that includes Chris Hemsworth, Brian Tyree Henry, Scarlett Johansson, Keegan-Michael Key, Jon Hamm, Laurence Fishburne and Steve Buscemi. Directed by Josh Cooley (Toy Story 4).
Doesn't look too bad.

The Idea of You     HD720p 34MB
Romantic, comedic drama that centers on Solène (Anne Hathaway), a 40-year-old single mom who begins an unexpected romance with 24-year-old Hayes Campbell (Nicholas Galitzine), the lead singer of August Moon, the hottest boy band on the planet. Directed by Michael Showalter (The Big Sick, The Lovebirds, The Eyes of Tammy Faye).
Sounds a bit like a filmed fanfic. But reviews are surprisingly good. Now streaming on Amazon Prime.

Atlas     HD1080p 46MB
Sci-fi action movie about Atlas Shepherd (Jennifer Lopez), a brilliant but misanthropic data analyst with a deep distrust of artificial intelligence, who joins a mission to capture a renegade robot with whom she shares a mysterious past. But when plans go awry, her only hope of saving the future of humanity from AI is to trust it. Simu Liu, Sterling K. Brown and Mark Strong are also part of the cast. Directed by Brad Peyton (San Andreas, Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, Rampage).
I suspect not many reviews will pass up the opportunity to speculate that the whole film was conceived and made by "AI". Will start streaming on Netflix May 24th.

The Second Act - Le deuxième acte     HD480p 6MB
Short, amusing trailer for the latest comedy written and directed by Quentin Dupieux (Deerskin, Rubber, Wrong). It will open the Cannes film festival later this month, though it will not take part in the official competition. Florence (Léa Seydoux) wants to introduce David (Louis Garrel), the man she's madly in love with, to her father (Vincent Lindon). But David isn't attracted to her and wants to throw her into the arms of his friend Willy (Raphaël Quenard). The characters meet in a restaurant in the middle of nowhere.
Watch the trailer for plot summaries of the film. It gives a good impression of the playfulness of Dupieux's movies.

Hit Man     HD1080p 36MB
Action comedy inspired by the unbelievable true story, about a strait-laced professor (Glen Powell) who uncovers his hidden talent as a fake hit man in undercover police stings. He meets his match in a client (Adria Arjona) who steals his heart and ignites a powder keg of deception, delight, and mixed-up identities. Directed by Richard Linklater (School of Rock, Everybody Wants Some!!, Bernie).
Was very well received at festivals. Will start streaming on Netflix June 7th in many English speaking countries and Asia, but will have a theatrical release in Europe and South America. An earlier groovy, short teaser that states a universal truth about pie: Tsr HD1080p 9MB.

Deadpool & Wolverine     HD720p 32MB
Second trailer for the third Deadpool movie, this time teaming up with Wolverine, to be in theatres in July. I like the summary that's now used on IMDb: Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) is recovering from his injuries when he crosses paths with the loudmouth, Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds). They team up to defeat a common enemy. Morena Baccarin, Leslie Uggams and Brianna Hildebrand will return. Matthew Macfadyen and Emma Corrin are new cast additions. Jennifer Garner as Elektra and Patrick Stewart probably as you know who, are also listed. Directed by Shawn Levy (Night at the Museum, Real Steel, Free Guy).

Young Woman and the Sea     HD720p 29MB
Biographical drama about competitive swimmer Trudy Ederle (Daisy Ridley) who was born to immigrant parents in New York City in 1905. Through the steadfast support of her older sister (Tilda Cobham-Hervey) and supportive trainers, she overcame adversity and the animosity of a patriarchal society to rise through the ranks of the Olympic swimming team and complete the staggering achievement – to swim 21-miles across the English Channel. Stephen Graham, Kim Bodnia, Sian Clifford, Christopher Eccleston and Jeanette Hain are also part of the cast. Directed by Joachim Rønning (Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, Kon-Tiki, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil).

Hundreds of Beavers     HD1080p 18MB
Low-budget, slapstick adventure comedy set in the 19th century. A drunken applejack salesman must go from zero to hero and become North America's greatest fur trapper by defeating hundreds of beavers. He finds himself stranded in a surreal winter landscape with nothing but his dim wits to guide him. Against a backdrop of ruthless elements and sinister creatures - all played by actors in full-sized mascot costumes – he develops increasingly complex traps in order to win the hand of a mischievous lover.
Instead of trying to describe it, I recommend watching the short trailer linked above to get a feeling for the uniqueness of the film. It has been doing the rounds at film festivals and special screenings for 18 months. It's now available on streaming services.

IF     HD720p 34MB
Second trailer for this fantastical family movie about a girl (Cailey Fleming) who discovers that she can see everyone’s imaginary friends - and what she does with that superpower - as she embarks on a magical adventure to reconnect forgotten Ifs with their kids. trailer_spot: (Default)
Joker: Folie à Deux     HD720p 25MB
First trailer for the sequel, again directed by Todd Phillips (The Hangover, War Dogs, Old School), to be in theatres in October. There's no official summary, but the second mad, central character hinted at in the title is Harley Quinn (Lady Gaga), the psychotherapist who meets the Joker (Joaquin Phoenix) at the Arkham Mental Health Facility. Zazie Beetz returns, new cast additions are Steve Coogan, Brendan Gleeson and Catherine Keener.

Kinds of Kindness     Tsr1 HD720p 11MB    Tsr2 HD720p 5MB
Two very short teasers for the new movie directed by Yorgos Lanthimos (Poor Things, The Favourite, Dogtooth), that do an excellent job at what they are supposed to do, to tease. I could watch both of them in a loop.
Movie will take part in the official competition at Cannes next month. Most of the line-up was revealed this week.

Fly Me to the Moon     HD720p 32MB
Comedic drama film set against the high-stakes backdrop of NASA’s historic Apollo 11 moon landing. Brought in to fix NASA’s public image, sparks fly in all directions as marketing maven Kelly Jones (Scarlett Johansson) wreaks havoc on launch director Cole Davis’s (Channing Tatum) already difficult task. When the White House deems the mission too important to fail, Jones is directed to stage a fake moon landing as back-up and the countdown truly begins. Jim Rash, Ray Romano and Woody Harrelson are also part of the cast.
As Kubrick gets mentioned at the end of the trailer, I can recommend watching the mockumentary Dark Side of the Moon. Or the doc Apollo 11 that gives a very good first-hand impression of what an utterly insane undertaking the first moon landing was.

Under Paris - Sous la Seine     HD1080p 31MB
Some B-movie madness that will properly set you up for the opening ceremony for the upcoming Summer Olympics in Paris. Sophia (Bérénice Bejo), a brilliant scientist comes to know that a large shark is swimming deep in the river Seine. Directed by Xavier Gens (Hitman).
Will start streaming on Netflix June 5th.

The Bikeriders     HD720p 34MB
Drama that follows the rise of a fictional 1960s Midwestern motorcycle club through the lives of its members. Kathy (Jodie Comer), a strong-willed member of the Vandals who’s married to a wild, reckless bikerider named Benny (Austin Butler), recounts the Vandals’ evolution over the course of a decade, beginning as a local club of outsiders united by good times, rumbling bikes, and respect for their strong, steady leader Johnny (Tom Hardy). Over the years, Kathy tries her best to navigate her husband’s untamed nature and his allegiance to Johnny, with whom she feels she must compete for Benny’s attention. Michael Shannon, Mike Faist, Norman Reedus and Boyd Holbrook are also part of the cast. Directed by Jeff Nichols (Mud, Take Shelter, Midnight Special).
Release got delayed by Hollywood strikes. So since the first trailer already came out last September we get a new one.
